I get a Brazilian Blowout every 3 months and always pair it with this set. I used to use other sulfate free brands but using the original has always made my hair look healthier. Would recommend.

This shampoo set is the only one to use after a blow out it makes my hair smooth and makes the blowout last longer . The only thing that could be different is I’m a scent kind of gal and this has no scent . My hair feels clean and soft after but does not leave my hair smelling like I just used a great shampoo . I will always use this one every blow out though cause it works well !!! Just don’t expect to smell like herbal essence after shampooing lol

This is an update from what I posted last year. First Brazilian Blowout is the name of a hair straightening procedure that costs a couple of hundred dollars. The hair gets heavily coated with a product that will stay in for around 16 weeks. That is if the proprietary shampoo and conditioner are used after the process. The down side of the Blowout is that hair might break easier and during the heat process, formaldehyde is released. This is a known carcinogen. When I get this, I wear an N95 mask and the door to the outside is opened. The post Blowout products lack a common chemical found in OTC products in order to prevent stripping the proprietary hair coating. I also use the Ionic Bonding spray because it is a great detangler that I even use on my grandkids when they visit. Last year I used an OTC product after the 16 weeks, not knowing that my hair was still coated. This resulted in the product being stripped from my hair. This year I got about 20 to 24 weeks from the Blowout by continuing to use their products With the Blowout, I found that I only needed to use the conditioner sparingly because I made my hair even heavier. When the coating was gone, the conditioner behaved like a mediocre OTC product. The shampoo on the other hand was very luxurious and my continued use did not affect at breakout of dandruff. In general, the products are authentic to an actual Blowout and will not reduce frizz unless the coating is done. The cost savings was minimal since I could get the product from my official hairdresser for close to the same amount. Without a Blowout, these products will not reduce frizz, but the shampoo is one of the better ones.

I got a Brazilian Blow Out treatment at the salon, and the hair dresser recommended this shampoo to keep my hair straighter, and make the treatment last longer. It makes my hair very oily, it doesn't leave my hair feeling much cleaner. Shampoo doesn't lather much. Very expensive, so disappointing.

I'd like to preface that I am black with long thick hair. Generally I like products that have a little oil in them it prevents breakage. This is the second time I've used this product. The first time my hair was so greasy it lasted a week straight before I had to put in in a ponytail. Just blowing out my hair I can feel the grease all over my hands and I made sure to give it a extra rinse this time. I probably will never use it again, waste or time if you want your hair silky. Update, upon washing my hair with a different shampoo after using this product 2x, I discovered my hair lost it's curls, all of it. It is dead straight. I urge anyone who likes their curly hair to never use this product.
