UPVC Stair Nosing 45x22 for Wooden Laminate Stairs Edge Protection KP-4522 TMW Profiles (Oak)

Love that these exist - had a quote for carpet on my stairs and landing at around £300 - I just bought laminate and used these to trim the edges- looks like a really great feature - great colour matching and will match a range of laminate - I didn’t use the proper fixings that come with it but just glued this in with silicone/no nails and it’s fine.

This trim was as good as a match to our oak flooring , was easy to cut and fit . Have purchased another three and a door bar trim to match

I had recently fitted 12mm oak laminate flooring in my house. I needed to cover the top step edge. These nosings were the only thing I could find online to do the job. I liked the look so decided to laminate the stairs and fit the nosings to the staircase too, so I ordered another 14 (13 treads and a spare). Unfortunately, the nosings were 22mm deep, not enough to cover the laminate and the original tread so I doubled up the nosings to each tread edge. The nosings were labelled Natural Oak but were of 2 distinct colours. Of the first 14 nosings I ordered 8 were more like beech than oak. All packs were labelled the same so I put this down to them being "Natural Oak". I ordered more nosings to finish the stairs but these all came in the oak colour, not in the beech colour. When I had finished the complete staircase the beech ones looked odd so I ordered more nosings and replaced the beech ones that were already laid. Now they are all the same oak colouring they look great. To double up on each tread I first fixed one by drilling for the fixings horizontally into the tread edge. The second was then fixed by drilling vertically into the tread in the normal way. I think the double edge looks good and solid.

Great for ends of your laminate if near you front door

Hard to find these sort of things, one broke due to an accident, so was pleased to find it, at a very reasonable cost. Decent quality and installed easily, so far so good.
