Hot Chilli Oil 100ml - Intense & Spicy Cooking Oil - Great Taste Award Winner

I have not tried this before. It does not have a strong flavour, like paprika powder, but its flavour is warm and mellow. The heat is quite strange: it doesn't send you rushing for the cold tap, but putting a little on my tongue resulted in a fairly high but pleasant heat, which seemed to last on my tongue for ages! (like half an hour or more!)I have so far tried a little in a chillie con carne, (mixed with other hot chillies) and it improved both the flavour and the heat. I will be using it in other dishes.Don't get it on your clothes!

Worth the money. Lovely flavour and adds some, but not too much, heat. Best not to add other hot elements like chilli or ginger until you have used it alone first.

So delicious, tried a lot of chili oils but this is the best I’ve had! Really fresh taste, but not too hot or overpowering, it is just right. Really versatile too, we like to drizzle it over salads, pizza and fresh pasta, but our favourite is using it to make a spicy stir-fry to die for!

The blood red oil looks slightly evil, but great flavour and a punchy little oil.Overall: very nice!

It's ok was expecting more of a flavour, I think the taste gets lost quite easily in the dish.

This oil is special. I'm not a fan of burning hot chili that dominates the taste of dishes, but this thick, deep red rich oil is not like that. It certainly is hot, but only a few drops added at the end of cooking give a warm comforting taste to your meal.The best use I've found for it was when we steamed some oysters and added a couple of drops of this and a few drops of sesame oil to the shells when they opened. Sublime!
