Will be perfect when he's older.
Completely as I expected. Will hold off on putting it in his dogloo till he gets past this "eat everything" phase otherwise it will be in pieces the minute I turn my back . . he's not quite a year old and has a LOT of growing up to do. Until then, he can rough it. At least he has a good roof over his head. The "little stinker" stole a watermelon off the patio table yesterday and ate the entire juicy inside before I caught him.The "him" is an 11 month old Fawn colored Doberman. If it fits in his mouth . . he figures it's edible. He'll get the new pad LATER!I do recommend and would buy again if the need arises.

Good purchase
This was exactly what I was looking for, it shipped/arrived quickly and there was no damage when it arrived. The only negative about it was that it was easy for my dog to tear up, even with a covering over the top of it. We have had to duct tape it back together.

Good but dog chewed it to pieces
This was definitely a good dog pad. Unfortunately my dog decided to tear it apart the first day and it had to be thrown out. If you have a dog that likes to dig and chew I suggest a blanket instead so you don’t wast the money.

Way over-priced; very cheaply made in China
I just received the item today. Quite disappointed indeed. It is very, very cheaply made (in China as well). The foam is low quality and only about 2 inches thick at most, and is a cheap quality foam. The cover over the foam is low quality as well. It is not worth more than $15- $20, (definitely not worth > $50.) , and I highly doubt it will last more than 3 - 6 months. I do NOT recommend this product at all. My recommendation is to go a local home health medical equipment store and purchase a twin sized egg crate mattress (for about $20) and cut it out to fit (you will have enough left over to make 1 or 2 more), and go to a local home improvemnt store and get a blue or gray colored tarp and cover the foam up with it. Another option would be to just get cheap illows at a local discount store, and cover them with the tarp.

The pad is fine. The doghouse is worthless
I got this to go in the corresponding doghouse. When it rains, the inside of the doghouse is a lake. The water pools in it. Worthless. I was at least able to return the doghouse because I got it at Walmart. However it is too late to return this.

Not durable
I would give this product 0 stars for sturdiness. It was easily punctured by my dogs nails within 1 week of use. He didn’t scratch it open, just his normal circling before laying down. The torn vinyl then exposed the foam filler to moisture. Living in a wet environment, the bed became soaked and I had to throw it away. Such a waste of money and now I’m back to having my outside dog sleeping on hard plastic. Disappointed that there isn’t a better waterproof bedding option for this style dog house.

Nice!
Very nice pad for the bottom of the igloo type dog house. I purchased this for a neighbor's dog who seems to like it a lot. The pad seems to be well made. Blankets were added to the top of the pad.

Not For Chewers
Hey, so this pad seems great and fits perfectly. It looks easy to clean and seems comfy. My pad lasted about three days, when my pup decided it was fun to chew on. If your dog doesn't get distressed when alone or bored, this pad would be great. My solution to padding my dog house was to buy a bale of cheap hay form a local pet or garden store. now my dog has a comfy, dry, warm place to sleep that also is fun to roll in and scratch that back. She loves her dog house now!
