Don’t lose your hat Get one of these
Clips work pretty good kept my ball cap on in the wind came in handy on vacation

Hard to clip on to the hat
These work but they are hard to clip on the hat. It seems i have to spend 5 to 10 minutes each time. I use the chin strap. I do not use the other clip which has a different clip design.

Just didn't work out for me
I like the shorter one with the alligator clips.I didn't find the longer one comfortable--it was awkward-feeling and looked weird on my sunhat that doesn't have a chin strap. Since I can't return only the chin strap, I have to return both.

Not up to the task
I believe people who purchase products like these do so for one reason, to keep their hat on their head. Mine was to keep my hat on my head while riding a motorcycle and this product failed miserably at that The elastic is much too lightweight and the sliding clip doesn’t stay in place.

This IS NOT the product purporting to be sold. I should have read the reviews. Didn’t think it would be necessary for such a simpleItem. Like others, what I received were crappy pieces of string, which cannot do the job

Ripoff
I ordered what you see advertised, and what's pictured is what came. Do you see clips on them? I checked the package and the envelope to make sure I hadn't overlooked anything, and I had not.
