Best. Grill. Ever.
Remember in high school when you were dating that girl and you *thought* you were in love? And then you broke up and a few years later someone better came along and you found out what real love really felt like? Remember that grill that you thought you loved? You know, the one that you bought at Walmart for $199 with 8 burners, a built in sink and a helicopter landing pad? Well, you haven't loved a grill until you've owned this one. Simplicity is key, and combined with great build quality, this grill is an absolute WINNER.Let me just say this: there's a reason why this grill is more than ones from other makers even though it may seemingly have less features and less burners. It is so well made and so easy to put together it's crazy. This thing is a tank. And it's beautiful. It's like comparing a BMW and Kia. They both have CD players and leather seats - but are they equal? Nope.A couple of GREAT things about this grill:1. It is amazingly easy to assemble for a grill. The directions are all pictures, which is kind of annoying, but if you can't read you'll love it.2. It is packed very well.3. It is beautiful when assembled. It is a real work of art.4. It cooks food so darn well - evenly, accurately and with precision. It heats up quickly.5. The fold down trays on the side are a nice touch. The grill takes up a really small footprint when you need it to.A couple of NOT so great things about this grill:1. If you're used to cooking 17 cobs of corn 14 burgers, 12 hot dogs and a two t-bones simultaneously, this is not the grill for you.2. I don't really like the back of the handle - instead of being solid, it has like some ridges (to add grip I guess?) and it feels, well, not good. One thing I would also recommend - get the Weber grill cover. It's well worth it. It's also well made and it will keep this puppy shining like the day you bought it.It's time for a burger. Excuse me.

The Weber Spirit S210 Stainless Steel Grill Is Terrific
I did a lot of research before I bought my new Weber Spirit S210 propane gas grill, and I was not disappointed when it arrived and I started putting it together. I enjoy putting things together, but am frequently disappointed and frustrated because holes do not match and pieces do not fit properly. Not so on this grill. Everything went together perfectly and everything matched. This grill is a work of art! The ONLY problem I encountered was a dent in the stainless steel door, which was the last item I had to put on the grill. It was a Saturday evening, and I figured no one would be there to answer the phone, but I called the 1-800 number anyway, and, much to my surprise, a rep named Helen answered the phone! I explained the problem, and she asked if I could take a picture of the dent in the door and e-mail it to her so that she could start the process of ordering a new door. I took the picture immediately and e-mailed it to her. She e-mailed me back within minutes and told me that she had put in an order for a new door, which would be shipped by FedEx, and told me to let her know if there were any further problems. She said it would take approximately 10 days to receive the door. Imagine my surprise when I got home from work 5 days later and found the package waiting! I completed the assembly that evening. In retrospect, I am glad the original door was dented, because it showed me what a terrific company Weber is and how they stand by their products! The Assembly Guide for the grill is also terrific. There are no written words, just pictures, but the pictures are perfect and very easy to follow. I love putting things together, but even someone who doesn't enjoy the process would find this product very easy to assemble. There are so many things that make this grill superior to anything I have ever seen before, from the quality and weight of the parts, to the thermometer, to the cylinder scale, to the side tables that fold down, to the locking casters to make moving the grill so easy, and much, much more. All of this was obvious before I even fired the grill up for the first time! Once I fired it up, I knew I had made a really good decision about which grill to buy. It is easy to use, it cleans up well, and it cooks evenly. I bought the small model because I am single, but there are larger models. I can say without reservation that this grill is top-of-the-line and worth the investment!

I had seen a larger Weber gas grill with stainless steel "cooking grates" so I spent extra money on a stainless steel "grill' thinking I was getting the better grate. Alas
I bought this Weber grill to replace a model by another manufacturer. I was assured by friends that have a Weber that the extra cost is money well spent. The first mistake was my own: I had seen a larger Weber gas grill with stainless steel "cooking grates" so I spent extra money on a stainless steel "grill' thinking I was getting the better grate. Alas, cast iron grates on this one since "grill" refers to the overall appliance. The grill arrived in a large box weighing 118 pounds which I was only able to move because I could slide it on a pallet and move it with our farm tractor. It was very well packaged in heavy cardboard with all the individually wrapped parts nested tightly together. There was no sign of any stress on the outside package, but a third of the way into removing the parts, the grill door, which was wrapped separately was clearly defective. One edge had been bent but there was no stress on the cardboard surrounding it; this means it was packaged this way. The person packaging this grill knowingly packed a defective part. I called Weber immediately and they said they would send me a new door immediately, but, oh, they were out of stock so it might come 4-5 weeks from now.The assembly instructions are graphic only, no writing, but are quite clear and work well if you pay close attention to details. The second problem showed up near the end of assembly. The bent door wouldn't work but as I worked through the instructions it became clear that there is no hole drilled to insert the plastic hinge pin for the bottom of the door. How this grill got through manufacture and inspection with no hole drilled in the base is beyond me. It is certainly a sign of lax quality control. The previous grill we got a couple years ago was half the price of this Weber, but it had all the parts and the frame had all the necessary holes drilled. So far, this Weber has not been worth the extra money.
