Nephrite Jade Maori Inspired Adze Toki Strength Necklace 52mm

Hopefully the subject title says it all. This is one beautiful necklace that is fast becoming my favorite. The color and design are excellent and I feel powerful when wearing it. It arrived quickly and the price is very reasonable. I looked at similar necklaces both here and on other sites and the prices were quite above the price of this lovely necklace. I also love supporting small businesses. A true find!

I can't believe no one has reviewed this necklace yet.I've always wanted a Maori necklace, but usually they're at least a couple of hundred dollars. I ordered this one thinking that it was going to be thin or just an unshaped piece of jade. I was *so* wrong. I'm not an expert on Maori pieces, but I think it's a fine example of a Maori adze necklace. It has a great weight. The jade is shaped with a gentle curve on one side and angled to a taper from the center on the other. It's beautifully wrapped and braided by a black cord. On top of everything, instead of being stuck in a ziplock bag, it came in a green velveteen pouch that was inside a woven pouch. It also included two small pieces of paper, one with a list of all the materials used in their products and another with an explanation of the meanings of the different shapes.For the money I spent, this was an amazing find. I don't see how anyone could possibly be disappointed.Thank you very much!

This was the only manly and affordable Jade I could find to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. Gotta say...it’s perfect. A masculine look, nice weight. Curved on one side, cut design on the other side. Very pleased. Great gift! Husband really likes it!

Truth in advertising. I was worried about buying a necklace from Amazon. Would it be what is pictured? Would it be what I was wanting?It absolutely was exactly what I wanted and what was presented.It is a nice piece of Jade.I am very happy with this dealer.

Full disclosure: I bought this because I was interested in obtaining a piece similar to what Jason Momoa wears in the Aquaman movie. If you are looking for a 1:1 replica, this is not the piece for you. (I actually have a non-licensed one that looks nearly identical, but is merely resin.) If, however, you are looking for the spirit of the thing, this is a far better piece. The stone I received was--to my relief--somewhat darker than the listing image, so I've included a picture with it lying atop the woven bag it came in. Being actual stone, it has a pleasant weight to it without dragging on my neck, and I appreciate that a sliding bead makes the cord adjustable. It is smaller than the piece in the movie, but Jason Momoa is a 6'5" male, and I'm a 5'3" female, so honestly I think it suits me better; your mileage may vary. This is a lovely alternative to New Zealand sourced jade, which is simply out of my price range, and is none the lesser for it. I appreciate the care and craftsmanship that went into it, and can recommend the purchase without reservation.

But this is a true Nephrite Greenstone Jade Maori Adze Toki Strength Necklace, although only two inches tall instead of the three inches version in the movie. But then, I am much smaller than Jason Mamoa anyhow, so this size is perfect. And the quality and shape of the piece is just wonderful!
