Review written by wife: We have had this bedding set for over four years. It is gorgeous in person, though a bit more (matte) silver in color than the pictures can relate, unless your walls are a similar seafoam green to bring it out. The stitching is tightly done and holds well. It is soft. It is super warm for winter (if you leave a comforter pulled up all night). I have sensory issues and the feel of this material isn't grating at all. It cleans up well. We've laundered ours about 10 times in 4 years os continual use and the batting hasn't clumped or moved to one side of the comforter like many do. I have gotten many complements on this set and after searching for something I like just as much (and finding nothing under $1k, which is a ridiculous price to spend on a comforter anyway), I think I am going to simply replace our old set with the same thing. Yup, I love it that much. Why replace it? Because the embroidery has gone a bit dull in color compared to the original cream. I highly recommend this set.

Love this set! It is exactly as pictured color-wise. Top notch quality - worth every penny. Found 'close up' pictures on Wayfair.com (which sold me on it), but don't buy from "Way-not-fair".....too expensive. Amazon's price is much better! Find 'euro' pillows for the euro shams at Walmart (26"x26") fits perfectly $9.00 each - in their 'craft' dept., not bedding dept. Stop buying cheap comforters cuz they're inexpensive. This is a set you'll have for years! Absolutely beautiful and well made. A steal at this price!

The quality of this bedding set is great. The comforter is a heavy winter weight and is easy to launder - although you need a big drum on your washer. The size of the comforter is much better than others I've tried as it properly drapes over the sides and end of the bed ... no skimping on material here. There were mixed comments left by other reviewers about the colour - I would describe it as a sage green - so going towards the greyish end of the green spectrum not the acqua end.

This is an absolutely gorgeous comforter set, but it definitely is not the bluish teal color as shown in the picture. It is grey-blue. I am keeping it because it is so elegant and I am going to work around it as far as decorating my room. As one person stated, it is VERY heavy. But for what you get (Euro shams plus decorative pillows) it is a terrific bargain. I am going to put my bed together tomorrow to see how everything looks, but I'm almost positive I will end up keeping it.

The Madison Park Newhaven comforter set looks like I paid three times as much as I did. The split corners on the bedskirt is a wonderful feature for my needs. Heavy, excellent quality. It's not a true blue but somewhere between sage and dusty blue. The embroidery is very well done and the euro pillows and 3 throw pillows kick everything up a notch.

This is more green than expected and is the same shade as halcyon by Sherwin Williams.One side has no pattern and the other has a woven pattern that goes from top to bottom. The comforter is very well made, comfortable,not too heavy, and warm. I run cold and its warm enough for me. My husband runs hot and he loves if too.

Love, love, love this set! Well made, good weight (not for summertime, unless you take the comforter off at night), beautiful color and great fabric! AND I had originally seen this on another website, bur after doing a search, Amazon had the best price!

I've used this set for about 5 months now. It is perfect. No threads coming loose, no seams splitting. I didn't expect this quality when I ordered it. It is well padded (thick) and very attractive.
