easy to use and not a single shred of adhesive left behind.
product did just what it was supposed to do. covered the paint for a 500 mile trip back home. easy to install and easy to remove. left no residue behind. I did dry stick and didn't care about the bubbles left nor how pretty it was. installed on a slightly windy day and a second set of hands would have made quicker work used a 4x20 and a 6x40 kit on the front of a mustang gt

Excellent! 12 x 100
Used this to protect my front bumper and side mirrors on a 5 hour road trip with a big group of 911's. I didn't try to squeegee it smooth, just basically slapped it on and it stayed in place. I'm not trying to make it look smooth and invisible like paint protection film because its temporary. I put it on the night before the trip and I'm sure it would have stayed on indefinitely, but I removed it once I got to my destination, then applied new strips for the ride home. If you remove it carefully you can probably reuse the same strips, but I haven't tried it. Removes clean, no residue. My car has been paint corrected and this removes with no damage. Expensive, but better than blue tape and it's clear. Excellent for the track or long road trips. This stuff will stay on for a cross country trip and back!

used this on my brand new bmw x5 m60i to protect the paint on the drive home until it could get wrapped next month. the 12”x40’ was enough to cover the important parts.it applied easily, cut to fit then put on where you want it. i drove an hour home then peeled it right off since i was paranoid about the paint sticking from other reviews when they left it on too long. i had no issues at all! it peeled away so easily. protected from bugs and dirt even from my hour drive.highly recommend and i’ll be buying a second roll for my trip to the detailer.

Works great, but it's expensive for what it is
Function:Yes, Tracwrap works, no doubt about it. I autocross with big sticky tires and the tend to fling rocks at the paint causing chips. I've had ZERO chips where I've placed the tape. I've installed and used on the track, course, and street without an issue.Cost:It's expensive. Let's be honest about it, you're paying to prevent paint chips so it's worth the price. Unfortunately it's not a permanent solution, so the price for use climbs rapidly. The long term solution is to a get a permanently installed paint protection film. I'd use this only to determine where you want the permanent film, and then get a local shop to install and be done with this repeating cost.Installation:The film isn't hard to apply, and after 3-4 times I've seen to have found "what works" on my car and the curves of where I'm installing. The "tool" (a piece of plastic with a felt like piece glued to it) works well to remove bubbles. It will NOT remove wrinkles. You need to have some tension in the film as you are laying it down, but you don't want to stretch the film. There is a fine balance required, but it's not hard to figure out. You should start with a clean surface and I'd work in small pieces (3' at most) the first few times you use this. As you get the feel for the tension vs. stretch you can cut longer pieces if required and get a near invisible install.

Used on new 2024 C8 Z06 - works great even for a month
I used this to drive my new 2024 Corvette Z06 two hours from the dealer to get home in January. I ended up leaving it on for 38 days. The 6” x 40’ was just enough to cover the vulnerable areas - you may want a little more. 6” width is the right size to make it easy to handle. I did it in strips of 4’ or less, covering the nose, rocker panel and on the body behind the wheels. A few tips:1. Make sure it is very clean before you apply2. It’s best if you have two people to apply3. Gravel will accumulate where there are gaps, so be careful to take it off before this causes damage4. It does fine in the cold even when left on for several weeks without causing damage, but make sure you take it off in a warm environment. I waited for a 60°F day, drove it, put it in a garage and heated the garage to about 80°F.5. Use a space heater to warm the wrap in each section (about 30-60 seconds in each 3-foot strip) before pulling it off.As you can see, it didn’t leave any residue and didn’t damage the paint/clearcoat on paint which was about 4 weeks old (had to wait a few weeks to pick it up).

Perfect for a temporary road trip from the dealer
I ended up getting an allocation for a sweet Lotus Emira from a dealer that was 11 hours away, most of it highway miles. Decided to give this a try and was a bit nervous about it leaving nasty residue or even worst paint peeling when removing the film. Knowing that I was only going to keep the film on my car for only 2 days and the temp was around 60 degrees I gave it a try. Ordered the 40ft roll and used the whole thing up protecting my front end. Took only a few minutes to install (albeit not pretty) but it definitely served its purpose. Protecting the car after an 800 mile journey. Well worth it!

Stripped my paint! Worst thing I ever used
This stripped my paint! It was supposed to protect me from rock chips, instead it caused 100x more damage to my paint when it was time to take it off. It literally stripped off my paint from my bumper in multiple places. The bumper now needs a repaint.
