HBYWomen Camisole with Built in Padded Bra

Good, fit and comfortable
I am about 5‘5“ and 160 pounds. Bra size 38 DD. The Large fits well. I’m sure the extra large would fit fine too but I wanted it to be a little bit snug and slenderizing. It’s a bit shorter than some of my other Camisoles, but I kind of like that so that it doesn’t show.

Just what I needed!
I've been looking for a cami to wear with blouses that have a low neckline. This works perfectly! I like the adjustable straps, and the built in padded bra is comfortable yet provides substantial support. The material has nice stretchability and sheen vs cotton. We'll see how it holds up.

Nice shaped camisole, straps might be too long for small people
I wear this style top under my clothes all the time during the cold half of the year and sometimes exposed in summer, so over the years I have tried other brands and fabrics. I like this one and it's reasonably priced. I tried out a 2-pack then ordered a few more. Comfortable with nice shape and fabric. Have to remember to line dry them, though. I wash them in a mesh bag in the washer to protect them and to easily remove them before putting the remaining laundry in the dryer. Length is good for 5 foot tall woman but is probably too short for a taller than average woman. (I pointed to my waist in one of the photos.) My problem is that shoulder straps started out at the shortest possible length to get the cups in the right place. This means when the elastic straps inevitably stretch out a bit, I will have to take out the stitching at the ring and re-sew it to shorten the front portion of the straps so they can still be adjustable. The small range of strap adjustability is why I only gave them 4 stars. There's a fair amount of fabric above the bra cups so the cut is fairly conservative. I also included a photo where you can see the edge of the seams and padded cups through the fabric. It's just something to be aware of. It's normally not as visible as it is in the photo; it depends on the lighting. A bra underneath would be a lot lumpier and less comfortable, but I do wish the seams were just a little flatter where they meet the top edge of the camisole.

Functional, you get what you pay for
I used to buy Uniqlo's Camisole Bra tops, which are a whopping $25 a top. I primarily wear them under work blouses/tops in the warmer seasons. The short: These get the job done with a nearly identical look, fit, and at $15 a pop. I won't be buying the Uniqlo ones again. The long: There's not much to analyze. The bra padding is thick where you won't "peek through" even when it's cold. The outer edges of the padding does show a line through the camisole, it's not super obvious but it's there, though I don't think it'd peak through a second layer of clothes, even a fairly tight one. If you were wearing any loose clothing or even a cardigan/jacket that just covered the sides of your body, nobody would see the padding. The pads themselves are soft enough. I'm not getting memory foam vibes but I feel they mold to me. I can only speak for small-busted ladies such as myself though.Anyways, I'm going to call these my 'uniqlo camisole dupes'. I bought 6 in varying colors.

Work, Gym, Pajama, - A/B cups can do it all in this cami!
I’ve been buying black layering tanks/camis for decades and this is my favorite! My first purchase came with a 20% off coupon so I just purchased one for each day of the week.***The following is from an A/B perspective.******* If you use your tanks/camis for length this cami won’t work as well as a traditional layering tanks (example Tami from Old Navy)1. The built in bra is wonderful because the removable pads in other tanks get deformed and never stay in place when washing (I don’t hand wash).2. Adjustable straps are so important to a cami fitting correctly and these adjust easily.3. The fabric is beyond. Extremely soft:“Cupro is a regenerated cellulose fiber that is produced by treating cotton cellulose with cuprammonium salt. It is especially known to resemble silk, and is also known as artificial silk. Cupro fabrics breath like cotton, drapes beautifully, and look and feels like silk on your skin”

Runs Large & Cups May Show Through
Really terrific, smooth and silky material and very nice construction are the pros of this tank. The sizing, fit and nature of the padding, however, made this a no-go for me. I'm 5'2", 120 lbs, and a 34C and can usually fit into small tops, but tried the medium for this one, because I didn't want tiny padded cups that didn't cover all of my breasts. The intended use for this was as an under-shirt/cami for thin, white or light colored tops that would otherwise show my bar. The first problem, however, is that these cups show through any somewhat fitted shirt very prominently, less so through my white button-down oxford, but still a little bit. The second downside is that it's really generous in sizing and barely gave me any support as a result, less in fact than a traditional, yet elasticized, shelf bra would. So, I would say to order down a size (or even 2) if you are looking to wear this in lieu of a bra, unless you either don't need support, or have such an ample bustline (D or larger) that you'll fill this to the point of snugness. I would also recommend it solely for opaque tops or, if you're wearing it under a sheer/transparent-ish white or light colored top, solely for loose fitting tops, because the cups won't show through. The top, itself, lays really nicely and is so soft to-the-touch and pretty, I felt bad to not be able to keep.

So great, I bought another!
I love the way this bra fits. Its padding is built in, so no need to chase the pad around and adjust it during the day. No more sticking your fingers in the little holes on the side inside the top to try to grab the padding! I am very big-busted, and I love this bra! The only complaint is that it ran a little too large on me support wise, so I ordered another one size smaller and it fits beautifully.
