I have always been into miniatures and doll houses, but have never made anything. I don’t have room in my house for a proper dollhouse and also as I don’t have children, it just feels somewhat frivolous. This is the perfect substitute! It is tiny and does not take up any space, it is super super cute, and it feeds my love for miniatures. This is a lot more challenging than I thought it would be! It is really really tiny! I mean, I knew it would be small, but it is so small - is that shmol? :) The instructions are fairly good, although I suggest reading through them a few times and looking at everything so you understand it. Everything fits together perfectly. There is a nice mix of premade stuff and stuff that you have to make. I did not realize that a lot of this would be things on paper that you cut out and then glue to wood or create things out of paper. I highly recommend having a scalpel or some very sharp cutting tool to make things easier. I am still in the middle of making my first one, and I will post an update with a picture when I am finished. I already ordered two more. There is just some thing super fun about this. I honestly don’t know what I will do with them when I am finished, but even to stick them in a drawer and pull them out on occasion and look at them will be reward enough. Definitely make sure you have good glue. I have used a mix of wood glue, crazy glue and gorilla glue. Good tweezers and sharp cutting instruments are a must. I cut small pieces of command strips to stick the fairy lights up. I also bought black wire used in beading to replace the electrical wire as I have found it really challenging to work with. That is the only thing I haven’t liked, that electrical wire. I have also used a bit of mattifying mod podge on some pieces for a different effect. I can’t recommend this enough if you like crafting. The price point is so good for what it is. Love love love!

This one is a really cute set and the instructions are the best that I have seen with these little miniatures box tins. I'll definitely buy from this seller, knowing that the instructions are in English and easy to read. There are some great videos on YouTube to help with these, I would recommend you watch them over and over again, if you haven't worked with miniatures before. Dont let that stop you from trying these, they are fun and adorable, even if it's your first time working on miniatures. You can always go back and watch the part you're working on. You'll missed some things and going back you'll see other tips that'll help you. The problem that I had was the light switch, if don't glue it right and use it more than three times it falls behind the glued wall and you end up breaking the wires attached to it trying to pull it back through the opening. However, I feel this is a problem that should be upgraded by the company itself. I feel giving a five star is being honest and maybe the company itself will fix this, it has nothing to do with the seller itself and it was partly my fault as well. This was a Christmas gift that I need to replace. Now that I know what I did wrong, however, the company needs to add a box around this in the back so this wouldn't cause any further problems. I was being very gentle in doing so and still the wires broke. Otherwise this is a wonderful little miniature. I have a few other ones to try to fix this problem before doing this one over again . I wouldn't recommend using the white glue on things that will show glue on, however, the clear glue is just fine and it dries clear. There is plenty to finish this project with. Putting your paper for the backgrounds, you'll want to make sure the glue isn't thick, using a paint brush helps if you brush it on the tin itself first and you also have a small time frame to GENTLE smooth it out, so, that you're not getting wrinkles. I didn't have a problem with this, just be sure to be GENTLE by doing this. A few wrinkles isn't going to matter too much, you're are able to hide them with flowers and the supplies that they give you. There are lots of flowers and supplies to have fun with. I would recommend these kits. I would also recommend the company itself to add a box around the attach wires behind the turn on switch, they would sell lots more of these from returning buyers and not just a one time buyer giving up on something that is easily replaced in the first place and it wouldn't cause a problem to begin with.

i spent around 11 hours or so building the product and it came out super cute. a point i can confirm is that this was DEFINITELY not beginner-friendly… building the house alone took five hours because of how fragile it is along with the tiny pieces. for the first few hours i was using a glue stick before switching to liquid glue and struggled greatly because of how easy the pieces fell apart, making the glue seeming ineffective. that may be just me since i did not want to spend a lot of time glueing.. it did not come with batteries so i had to quickly get some from the store which was a hassle. overall, i would say the value for its cost is okay.

My daughter loves art and crafts. This a great product for those who want to keep busy. It is a bit challenging since it has too many small parts. But all in all this a great way to keep one busy. Good quality.

Geht zurück! Grund: weder Batterien noch Kleber enthalten und heute 10% günstiger! Ich werde mit dem höheren Betrag belastet. Weiters: die Produktbeschreibung ist falsch!!! AAA-Batterien werden benötigt lt. Beschreibung das ist Müll, denn man benötigt Knopfzellen LR 44 und wenn man die erweiterte Produktbeschreibung ansieht, noch eine herbe Enttäuschung: angebliche Komponenten: Spieluhr???? Da war nichts in der Schachtel. Andere Anbieter senden Kleber mit, ich habe mir bei Amazon Kraftprotz gekauft der klebt wenigstens wirklich alles, aber es ärgert mich dass so eine schlamperte Produktbeschreibung den Weg in die Angebote findet.

Amazing project. I was worried it would be too difficult for me but it was easy with very good picture instructions! It was so fun and my first time trying anything like this. I got it to make for a gift and my partner loved it! The only problem I had was trying to find out what type of batteries it took.
