Love this quality product! I have been using it for over 30 years for it’s gut health and healing properties!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have been buying this for years and the quality is always great. I use it in fruit shakes AND as a cleanse for my amazon parrot. 5 days of each month I add one capful to his water and it does a great job of gently cleaning out his digestive track. He was lethargic after a long stretch of my husband giving him unhealthy foods. Someone in the bird store said aloe added to the water brought his cockatoo back from the brink of death. Sure enough, after one week, the same with my yellow nape amazon. He was back to his playful, energetic self. I have read on line not to do it continuously, thus, the 5 days per month. Who knew?! Quality: Always high quality after buying this product for years.

I wish more people knew about Aloe!! I'm from Florida, but currently live in North Carolina. It pains me to see people putting the store bought "aloe gel" on their sun burns (honey, you know you're doing more harm than good, right?!). Takes mine and my kids sun burns away overnight almost every time! Never used for an upset stomach; however, I will have to see if it helps as I have IBS. Multipurpose product. Absolutely love.

No more gastric reflux pain. I take it 1/2 hour before my dinner. An acquired taste, I imagine. I drink it with a little diluted oj or just water.

I think we all know the benefits of external aloe vera but to my surprise, I had NO idea how benficial it is internally! The first thing I noticed is the refreshing, thirst-quenching quality it brought to my water. I even add a little iced tea for some added flavor. Also, the rumbling, stomach acid feeling that I've experienced as long as I can remember is non-existent. Funny what I thought was hunger pangs was actually stomach acid! Perhaps I'll loose a few pounds... (certainly an added benefit). Don't hesitate to buy this excellent brand....it tastes wonderful and completely refreshing!

I'm quite unhappy with this purchase having thought i was buying a pure product to help with severe digestive issues. As soon as it arrived, I noticed the first "other ingredient" listed was carageenan, a thickener known to contribute to worsening onset of IBS, Crohn's, inflammatory bowel disease, cancers, etc. This additive removes any benefits one might get from the cooling properties of aloe gel, and it means it may do more harm than good for those seeking this product out like myself to heal their already damaged gut. This is dangerous advertising for those with digestive compromise who do not know the impacts of carageenan and might consume this on a daily basis. Honestly wish I could get a refund and buy a cleaner label product :(
