This was the first bag of treats that my fussy 7 year old Yorkie ever went crazy for. And that’s because it was his first introduction to freeze dried treats 1 year ago. Over the years I spent so much money trying all different treats and he did not like them at all. But at the same time he would get so excited seeing me open a package. It broke my heart to see him anticipating the treat and then hating it. But freeze dried treats have been a hit! I he’s tried all the different flavors from this brand and he loves them all. He digest everything perfectly without any stool issues. The ingredients or the way these freeze dried treats are made are very healthy. He has sensitive teeth and can’t eat hard treats. This texture is not hard or chewy, but it’s very light and he eats them without a problem and even begs for more. I love this brand. This is also the brand of dry food he’s been eating for most of his life. It has a ziplock closing on top so they remain fresh. And they must say that I really don’t smell anything from these treats at all.. What I am not happy with is the price. I love this brand, but they are a little pricier than I’d like. For the amount of treats you get in this bag it is definitely expensive. Other than that, it’s a great product.

These treats are incredible! My very picky eaters eat every bite of their food with one treat crumbled on top.

I read what everyone else has said about the product arriving all dust like. I have not had that issue. I ordered this product in the past and this time was hesitant based on reviews so I only ordered one package. It arrived today and I am happy to report that it was in great condition with almost each of the treats being in good condition. These are fragile treats and will crumble with the slightest bit of pressure. One of the reason I love this product is because I feed my dog fresh raw food and use these as a topper and they are very easy to crumble and mix within his raw food.

The first thing that caught me off guard was the very fishy smell. The nuggets breakdown fairly easily, leaving pieces in the bottom of the package. I have a small-medium senior dog and these bites were a nice size for her and easy for her to chew. And, she really likes them!

These are pricey but are pure meat and have a strong smell that dogs love. (And cats!) note that they’re a bit messy as they’re flakey/crumbly and the bits of freeze dried meat tend to flake off or get on your hand / floor as you feed them to your pet. Nonetheless our pets LOVE THEM — they go insane for these and our cat even chewed a hole into the bag and finished the lot. The flakiness is perfect for crumbling over food; they’re not hard or dense so it’s really easy to just sprinkle the bits on your dog’s meals. Recommend!

I bought this based upon my faith of Origen being a premium brand and their dog food being highly regarded.Bad move. The dog treats are a terrible buy. Avoid these. As shown in my picture, it’s mostly dust. Sure my dog will eat it if I pour it into a bowl, but that’s not the way to feed treats. Poor execution Origen.
