Veritas Pinot Noir Wine Glasses, Set of 2

A very good all around glass for almost any wine, whether red or white, including sparkling wine. Not that this means that some other Riedel Sommeliers glass will not outperform it in side by side comparison. Certainly, dramatically better than the Zalto, in whatever variation that one chooses and at half the Zaltos's cost. Works extremely well for New World Pinot Noir even in side by side comparisons with the Riedel Sommeliers Burgundy glass that is almost 4X the cost per glass. And for New World Pinot Noir outperforms the Sommeliers Burgundy. Hard, if not impossible, to fault the Riedel Veritas New World Pinot Noir Glass. Very elegant, thin rim, light, and relatively speaking large volume capacity for the same wine Sommeliers. Not that anyone should try to use any wine glass to its full volume capacity. Of course, it is "fragile." But that comes with the territory and if one is not comfortable with that, than don't buy this glass. Riedel has certainly refined their manufacturing technique because the Veritas glasses for a given wine actually hold more volume than the Sommeliers for the same wine, except for the Bordeaux and Burgundy glasses. And the rim can't be more than a 0.1mm thicker than the Sommeliers Burgundy glass, if that.

We were first introduced to these glasses on a wine tour in Oregon. All the wineries use them. They are perfect for New World Pinots, enhancing the bouquet and taste of the wine. However, the stems are very thin and fragile. Use extra care while washing and drying. Also, the price fluctuation is crazy on these glasses. I’ve seen them as low as $49 and as high as $75 on Amazon since September.

These are my favorite wine glasses. They have a beautiful shape, lightweight, good feel. I’m funny about my wine glasses and super picky. These are top notch. My other ones got broken after a few years and I had to replace them, I love them that much. Worth the money.

Let me start by saying I am not a big fan of Reidel wine glasses and I don't think you need a different wine glass for each varietal. That said, I was in the market for some new wine glasses and I did a bunch of research, which led to to try these wine glasses and my wife and I were not disappointed! These are by far the best wine glasses we have ever used! They look great and just feel good in your hand! And they are just the right thickness to give a really good feel when you are drinking from them.

I love this tulip shape wine glass. The crystal glass is thin and fine. The 28 oz bowl leaves plenty of space for swirling my wine. It’s both pretty and elegant. I purchased four glasses. All arrived in perfect condition. Packaging was awesome!

I bought these for my husband for Christmas (I'm not a wine drinker) and he absolutely LOVES them!! He said they take an average wine to a whole new level!! They really make the whole experience of drinking wine much better...taste, smell, touch, sight...everything! If you are on the fence, just buy these!! You won't regret it!

While in Oregon at Bryn Mawr Winery we had the opportunity to taste one of their Pinot Noir wines in a standard wine glass and then in this style wine glass. There was a major difference in the "nose" and the taste.. Bought a set for Christmas, used them twice so far. Very pleased. They are very eloquent and work very well, as expected. They are quite thin and delicate, so gentle care in using.

These pinot noir glasses are attractive, very thin glass and light in weight as a result. The shape allows swirling without spilling and delivers aromas beautifully. This is a step up in elegance from any wine glasses we have had in the past and the cost is about as much per stem as I'm comfortable paying. After about 6 months of using a set of 4 of these, we broke one of them and then bought another pair from Amazon, so we now have 5. This was our mistake as someone held the base while trying to clean the bowl - the classic way to break fine glassware by putting a twisting force on the stem. So while these are not overly fragile, breakage is to be expected with very fine stemware. Best advice I have seen is - don't buy any fine glassware if you aren't comfortable with the idea that you're likely to break 1 or 2 glasses per year.

J'ai essayé d'avoir des nouveaux verres Riedel depuis un moment. Ces verres (New World Pinot Noir) ne permettent non seulement de savourer le vin, mais ils sont également très beaux. Ils sont très fins et légers, et parfois j'ai peur quand je met du vin et la balance n'est plus équilibrée.

Calici Riedel originali, molto costosi, ma davvero di qualità superiore. Assapori al meglio il vino in un calice di questo tipo. Adatti a più tipi di vino. Attenzione al lavaggio perchè fragilissimi. Non usare lavastoviglie.

Me llego quebrado este par de copas, la marca es excelente pero lo que me sorprendido fue el empaque. Terriblemente empacado.

Arrived quickly and well protected. Fine and elegant glassware but needs to be handled with care because the walls are very thin.
