Panties wheat pennies
Good quality. A lot of pennies works good for me

Worth it
Pleasantly surprised. I've been collecting wheat pennies for a few years, so I thought I would try this. Yes, a lot of pennies are from the 40s and 50s. Also considering that older pennies have probably been collected by others, or even destroyed at this point, I'm not terribly disappointed. There's a possible value of around $1000 dollars between just 3 of the pennies. I had a few that were mint and near mint condition. If you're looking for super rare pennies to make money, this probably isn't for you. If you just want to collect and see what you can find, I definitely recommend.

Be informed before purchasing...
Be informed: I read the reviews beforehand and expected this would happen and it did. Upon receiving the bag, about 85% of the pennies were from the 1950's and the remaining 15% from the 1940's. No steel pennies. If you are just starting out with your collection, this is a great way to get the common wheat pennies. But if you are looking for pennies older than 1940, this is probably not your pick. All in all, we only found 1 penny we actually needed and that's not worth the $25. We also had like 17 of the same exact penny on one date. That being said, my child had a fun time sorting through the pennies and thinks it's cool to have a jar full of extras.

Unsearched? I doubt it
Buy because you are trying to fill your wheat penny collection, NOT because it says "unsearched". I highly doubt that a bunch of fairly low quality wheat pennies in black jewelry bags are ACTUALLY unsearched. I haven't had the chance to go through what I've received yet but immediately upon pouring some out into my hand for a brief look, I found a memorial penny in the bunch, not a wheat penny. Who knows how many more might be in here to bulk up the weight. Was it worth the purchase? TBD...but initially unimpressed.

Feeling totally duped
Well first in the picture it shows a Buffalo nickle now I know it says a pound of pennies but no where does it say there is not a nickel so I was under the assumption it would be there. That was the main reason I purchased this particular item. Well it wasn't. Second it says pennies come in a "velveteen " bag.. more like burlap sack. I even googled it before writing this to make sure and no where under velveteen in the Google search does it show the bag that I got the pennies in. When I opened the pennies up half of them looked moldy colored and it says in the description you may get steel pennies. I might have gotten one I can't tell by how crusty and discolored the penny is. All in all I'm so beyond disappointed. This was my first purchase of coins online I'm new to collecting and thought why not give this a try.. well a slap to my face was the answer. I'm not one to leave a bad review or talk bad about anyone but this was ridiculous. Just be upfront and tell us what we're really getting. A burlap sack of 142 moldy colored pennies. I'm only writing tho to possibly help someone else. Think twice before throwing 20 dollars away . Don't think I will be wasting money online on coins anymore. Just beyond sad with this

Not as advertised
This was a learning experience. Obviously the coins had been sorted even though they claim they aren't. Lots of common coins. A couple of S mint marks. Mostly 1950s, but nothing before 1941. Two steel pennies with so much corrosion that the date is barely visible. AND four canadian pennies. Not worth the investment.
