These are a great product. They work really well and are good quality overall. Easy to use, and they look great. I’m glad I found them.

Great hood latches for GTR. No problems and shop was able to drill and install these no issues.

These look good, and work well once fitted. That said, there are no instructions. At all. So, do an internet search, piece together some direction from others, do a lot of head scratching and go to work. I used tape to layout the top piece first. You may need to do some work with a carbide bit in a die grinder and some abrasive rolls. Then start figuring out the pins. You may have better luck locating the pins first and using them to locate where the latch would be. In my application I could not do that. The pins must be centered up in the latch as the hood or lid closes. A piece of masking tape over the hole in the latch will give you a reference as to which way you need to move the pin. Once everything is in perfect alignment they work like magic. Be sure you double check after you put the loch screws in the bottom ring of the latch. It does affect the fit. Be patient fitting these latches. You will be there for a couple of hours at a minimum.

Item is of good material and holds great. Only giving it 4 stars due to no instructions. If you have a scion tc 2015-2016 I would highly recommend skipping these due to the bumper angles. Modification will need and end product you’ll hate

I wasn’t expecting much from these given the price point, but I’m pleased to say that these are actually quite good. They’re well designed, all metal, the latching mechanism holds tight, and the button has the right amount of pressure for a push release. They’re the right size for a larger hood and look much nicer than the old school pins that stick through.If you’re looking for this type of hood pin, this is a clean option. Fits not quite flush to the hood skin, as advertised, and has a nice, clean, modern look.You will have to be brave while you’re cutting the hole for the latch, but you got this. The wide flange is pretty forgiving of small mistakes, but if you’re unsure…get a body shop to install for you.

After slamming my car the bumper took alot of damage to the point where both sides had the panels popped out due to broken tabs.I tried different methods like XL zip ties and screws to keep the clean seamless look without drilling holes on the body of the car but it all eventually failed.So far it has only been two weeks but they are holding the bumper strong.I wish the stud was .25-.5 inch longer because at its furthest setting it is just barely able to latch and I’m afraid that it will not hold up with driving force.

Beware, if you’re not familiar with installing these, the item came with no instructions, so an inexperienced person looking to install for the first time will have difficulty. The material and quality was okay, so I rated it 3 stars.

Bought these quick releases for my car so that I can shave my bumper tabs, yet have something holding the bumper in place.They came quick, and were easy to install. Well, easy for someone who has experience in autobody.Your mileage may vary.They're simple in design, and are actually pretty good for what it is.Install took me about 20 minutes per corner. I mainly used tools that anyone would have at home, which includes a drill, drill bits, step bits, ratchet, and sockets.Some specialty tools I needed were a die grinder so that I can grind off some of the plastic from the bumper stay brackets. It was needed due to the latches no being able to lock into place because it hit it.They work and lock well; I have no complaints.The black color is great, especially on darker colored cars. Blends in nice and neat.My only gripe is that these should be about $10 cheaper, as they're so simple. But overall, no complaints whatsoever.
