Powerfun EDF 50mm 11 Blades Ducted Fan with RC Brushless Motor 4900KV Balance Tested for EDF 3S RC Jet Airplane

Used 2 of these setups in a 3d printed C-17. And it had plenty of power with a 4s 2600 battery

I replaced a 13 year old, 64mm, 6 blade EDF on a small flycat jet that is supposed to be a rear prop. Flew OK with the old one, never that fast, and man did it vibrate! This 50mm is 14mm smaller and it almost doubles the thrust, on only 3S! Very well balanced and super quiet. I 3D printed an EDF mount I found on T-verse, which makes it look good.

Holy crap this thing has a lot of power. I'm planning on using it to build an rc Orlyonok ekranoplan with this jet in the nose, and it should me so much more than enough. I used a no name brushless ESC and an 11.2v lipo and the thing wanted to lift off on its own. Going to have to build a test rig to figure out the thrust off of it, but it's a lot.

Every year, we have a “No Rules” Pinewood Derby at church. Being the competitive family that we are, second place just wasn’t going to cut it. We bought this fan and placed it in our car and WOOPED the competition. Check out our video for proof!

The review would have been 5 stars if the actual size of the product was 50mm and not 52mm. Casing would not fit into the model I was building.

Very good motor and esc- still waiting on my receiver to test it out but looks very good. Also got a very nice hand written note as well. Very happy with the product and seller. Would recommend
