How to Be a Math Genius: Your Brilliant Brain and How to Train It Hardcover – August 20, 2012

I’m an adult and it’s keeping me intrigued by the things I’m learning. Very simple and engaging. I haven’t even given it to my grandson yet. But I’m sure he’ll love it too.

My daughter is nine and spent hours reading this as soon as it came to the house. She can't stand math in school because it's boring and rote, but the fun and interesting things in this book help her to understand that math is more than multiplication and division and can really keep your attention.I recommend this to anyone who has a kid with an interest in mathematics and science, and especially for kids who have the interest but are bored with school.

So far this has been a very competitive thinking book..my 10yr old loves the challenge of the book..we will continue to work through out the book but this was a very wise investment that I made when purchasing it.

that is the feeling i took from enjoying this book with my 11 year old son. .At first,he was reluctant to even give it a chance- thinking there was no way there could be an exciting book about math. It was only after reciting some facts from the book that i got him hooked. He had a lot of fun showing off to his friends and teacher the next day. BONUS: there are lots of ideas for science projects - as we learn from this book- science and math go together and it would be wonderful if they would integrate the two once the kids get in middle school.

Packed with all kinds of brain teasing problems. Could not love it more!

I wanted this to be a great math book. But it sort of felt like reading math trivia.

This book is filled with excellent information> My ten year dreads math, so this is an attempt to get her more interested. She is enjoying it thus far, will update my review in the future.

We got this for our grandson. We hope it will help him with math and maybe even give him an edge and make the math easier and enjoyable for him.
