HP ScanJet G3110 Photo Scanner - Scanner à plat - 220 x 300 mm - 4800 PPP x 9600 PPP - Hi-Speed USB

Very good scan solution. We were looking for something to use in our company that made it easy to scan direct to printer in a warehouse environment here in Florida. It is often humid and even so the scanner performs really nice. You set the quality and one-click options to scan, print or email works like a charm. We have tried other solutions but can say that this is the best so far set on a low budget.

This scanner is not made very well. The connectors are weak and break very easily. No Auto document feeder is available for it. Would choose a different model in the future.

Was not compatible with my Mac as expected. Ended up returning it. So I ended up getting an all in one printer, scanner and fax machine instead.

The HP Scanjet G3110 was shipped in its consumer packaging. I knew when it arrived by the "plop" as it was dropped on my doorstep by UPS, who could obviously tell he was delivering a piece of electronic equipment. Fortunately, HP packaging was sufficient to protect the contents albeit the box took quite a beating. As far as I can tell, the scanner did not sustain any damage. It is very loud when scanning however I have seen this noted in several reviews on Amazon and the HP site. It is important to note that any OS later than Vista will require a direct download from the HP site for the proper drivers and software. (I am running Windows 7 x64 bit). ***DO NOT USE THE INCLUDED CD WITH WINDOWS 7 or 8!!!*** This information is included with the scanner documentation but can be easily missed if you are one to start loading and plugging. You must download the software PRIOR to plugging in the scanner. I realize that "instruction manuals are just another man's opinion", but it was truly a "plug-n-play" device once the software and drivers were downloaded with step by step on screen instructions.

The G3110 scanner software is reasonably easy to install. It is also reasonably easy to control the file size of the scan. It does not automatically defalt to a multi-megabite file size. Low resolution scanning of pictures shows a good quality result.

I purchased this scanner to scan and archive old photos. It was easy to use, fairly fast and gave great results. I was careful to customize the installation so that I did not load any of the non-relevant stuff HP likes to put on their installation discs. I found HP products overall to be of high quality and very durable and I am happy with this purchase.

Even though the specs on this scanner sound pretty good, for some reason the scans come out looking like spit. Absolutely horrible. The only reason I gave 2 stars is b/c the price was pretty low on it.

Worthless!!! this should be no stars, but the software wont let me select, 'none'.Tried to install the software in Vista, Windows 7 and 8.1. Won't install and there is no HP patch or update that I could find. Good buy if you want a door stop, useless for anything else.

I was ready to give this scanner a big fat F after it arrived damaged, and unusable. But after I filed a complaint and got a new scanner for free, I'm glad I didn't just get a refund. This scanner is the perfect upgrade from my ancient HP Scanjet 2200C. It's simple to use and it comes with a lot of cool new features. I love how I can crop and change the colour settings. I mainly use my scanner for scanning in pictures that I draw on paper that I want to transfer on the computer. This scanner is perfect for scanning pictures from sketchbooks. Don't get discouraged from some of the negative reviews, majority of them were written over 6 years ago! You can tell that HP has worked hard to fix any bugs and problems that the older models may have had.

Scanner estremamente pratico ed intuitivo; ottima risoluzione e facilità di installazione ed uso; solo un po' lento ad attivarsi, semplice ed efficace

Nous avions déjà le même scanner et celui ci je ne peux pas le configurer avec Windows 10 Que faire ?? Nous avons pris un neuf pour être sur de ne pas avoir de problème mais ... Dans l'attente d'une réponse Bonne journée Alain ICARD

impossible à ce jour de le faire fonctionner comme le précédent Scanjet G3110 qu'il doit remplacer car le nouveau ne contient pas le logiciel HP Photosmart que j'avais avec l'ancien scanner et qui permettait de faire des numérisations de négatifs et de diapositives. J'ai tout tenté pour trouver un logiciel Photosmart compatible avec mon Windows 7 et je n'ai pas réussi! Je suis donc dans l'obligation de faire appel à un spécialiste en informatique pour tenter de trouver une solution. Cela va me coûter assez cher merci! Si j'avais su que j'aurais ce problème, je n'aurais sûrement pas acheter ce scanner!
