Pet Travel Tube Car Crate Kennel, Pet Containment Barrier Mesh Tube, Soft Pet Cage, One Large Size Fits All

Got this for my two cats for a car trip from TX to NC. One is 12lbs and one is 15lbs, and they both fit just fine with a litter box. The tube stretches across the full back seat of our 4 door sedan and held up to my cats initially scratching at the mesh. One of my cats gets v e r y nervous, and actually threw up and peed in the tube on the first day of the trip... BUT it was very easy to clean and we had no issues the next day. My oldest cat liked being able to see out the windows of the tube, and overall they did much better than previous rides in their regular kennels. Since they are both so heavy, I never tried carrying the tube with both of them in it without supporting the cats from underneath, so I can't completely speak to how strong the tube is. The straps were great too - I never had to use them in the car, but I did have to strap them to the luggage carts because my sweet lil furry idiots would push the tube off the cart and try to roll away........ so I'm glad we had them!

I love it so far. Hasn't been wet yet. I put moisture pads under it. It works and fits perfect. I have a little dog she about a foot tall. She and her friends fit perfect with 12" of headspace. I have the holding straps looped around headrest. Collects alot of dirt from the dog . I bought it to keep my new truck clean. Works great. ZIPPER work like a zipper should.

My kitten hated being cooped up in this for a 3.5-day drive when we moved. That said, he’d probably have hated anything. He thrashed around like a dervish and threw a giant fit trying to escape, but didn’t manage to claw or struggle his way out of any of the zippers or the super flimsy mesh. I still think this was better for him than a smaller carrier because he had his boo box and enough space to stand up and walk back and forth while screaming at the top of his lungs. For six and a half hours straight one day. The construction held up fine to claws and 11 pounds of temper tantrum, and I’d give it 28 stars if the thing was soundproof.When I read reviews, I was nervous that it would come apart and I’d have to just stick him in the normal size carrier that I already had. After using this, I think the people who are saying it comes apart are probably using it to CARRY their pets. I put a leash/harness on my little guy, set him free in the kennel for the drive, and leashed him back up to walk him into the hotel each night. After our trip, I collapsed this and put it in storage until the next time I need to torture the poor little monster with an interstate move.The main reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it’s really overpriced because it’s a specialty item. I think $40 would be a more appropriate price for the quality of the product I received, but they’ve pretty much got a captive market here.... if you need a larger kennel, you’ll suck it up and pay for a larger kennel. I doubt this will hold up for much more than another trip or two like this, perhaps less if he keeps growing at this rate. I definitely don’t recommend this if you’re getting it for daily use and your pet has any enthusiasm for escape.... it won’t hold up to long-term abuse or a larger/stronger animal. If you’ve got a chill dog who will peacefully lie down and snooze for your daily commute, you’ll probably be fine with this kennel.

I have four chihuahuas that travel well but all want to sit in my lap when I drive. I tried other travel products that did not work. The pet travel tube worked so well it was miraculous! It stretches from side to side and ties to the seat for stability. I threw in a couple stinky blanks and they were right at home with no whining.

It works great. One of the only options that I could fit in the back seat of my truck. I put it on the floor with the seat up so my 2 dogs can go with me to work every day.After a year of use, the wire ends of the spiral worked their way through the fabric. I rigged it up so it would be safe to use on one end, but a month later, that end was beat up too.

I use this every day and my dogs are so comfortable in it I bought one for the house. If I need to go out for an hour or two, I put their bed in it and the dogs go right in. Lots of room and they feel comfy and safe

I would say this product isn't that much better quality than those collapsible mesh tube laundry baskets. Very disappointed in the quality of the product. For the price I paid, I expected the product to be 10x better considering the price of the product was about 10x more than what you would pay for a mesh tube laundry basket. My initial reaction when I received the product was it looked cheap and had my doubts about whether it would last. Unfortunately it didn't. Two months later, the wire that holds the shape of the tube was ripping out of the seams and the wire was poking out of the tube. Absolutely can't use the tube anymore because I'm afraid the metal wire sticking out will scratch the leather seats of my car. Tried pushing the wire in but the wire ends up ripping out of the seams in other places.The instructions included are absolutely terrible. It included unclear instructions with grayscale photocopy of pictures that was supposed to show how the to install the dang thing but the pictures were not clear bc everything in the picture was just different shdaes of gray and black. Might as well not even include instructions at all -_____-'Wish i saved it to include with this review. it's absolutely ridiculous. I think the useless instructions was another red flag telling me I should've returned the item. Any seller that care about selling a good product would've known better that if instructions are going to include pictures, the pictures should be clear.Of all the products I've purchased on amazon to date, this item has got to be the most disappointing. Wish I had returned the item as soon as I got it but I foolishly hoped it would last.
