There's hot sauce that's just hot and then there's hot sauce packed with flavor. Crystal Hot Sauce is one of those packed with flavor. ANd the flavor is great. I woul dnever think that such a common brand at such a low price would end up being my fave hot sauce. In the south, this is found in every single grocery store. This has complexity, great flavor and some heat, but not too hot. We add it to everything from eggs to meats to everyday recipes. I never make chili without it. Nor should you.

If you're thinking of placing an order for some Crystal, you probably already know it's the sauce you usually find on the table in New Orleans — not Tabasco. Crystal is less hot but more flavorful, with an agreeable vinegar tang. It gives a warm accent to what you're eating, without burning out your taste buds in the process, or covering up the taste of the food itself. Crystal's only fault? The company's distribution is worthless! It's a great product, but hard to find in the rest of the country. I'm glad to be able to buy it on Amazon. My order arrived quickly, well packaged and protected, with no leaks or dribbles. 5 stars it is.

My husband first tasted this product at a Cajun restaurant. He really likes the flavor. However, we did find it for alot less at a Mexican Market. Bigger bottle too.

I can taste the peppers and spices along with a nice vinegary kick to pull it all together. Not too hot or spicy (but it definitely has heat) and even though I have a sensitive stomach this sauce never bothers me. Perfect on eggs, pizza, grits...it’s the middle of the night and now I am hungry after writing this small review of a massively delicious product. It’s that good.

We went to NOLA for Mardi Gras… This stuff was on every single table, at every restaurant we went to. Like it so much we got home I had to order some. It’s very similar to Tabasco, but doesn’t have that heavy vinegar taste on a heat scale, I’d put it on 3 outta 10.

We were having issues trying to find the sauce locally and so I decided to order. It ran us a lot more for the little bottles (I always buy the bigger bottle) than waiting until the grocery store had it back in. It is a good sauce but wouldn't order again, 3 pack of 6 oz bottles for 9.79 versus under 3 dollars for 1 12 oz.
