Repel100 Insect Repellent, Pump Spray, 4-Fluid Ounces, 10-Hour Protection

This bug spray is some of the best I’ve used. I have been an outdoorsman my entire life (54)… and lived in the most mosquito prominent areas of US. I have tried every type of repellent and this one truly works and lasts longer than any other type used. I live in a swampy area of Florida next to a creek. I can sit outside in a lawn chair and watch the stars wearing shorts and a tank and not get bitten once. It’s a bit oily and needs to be rubbed on but it’s worth it!

Repel 100 Insect Repellent is definitely strong, but it does the job. I’ve noticed it works really well at keeping mosquitoes away, which is exactly what I need. I actually prefer this over the aerosol can sprays, because those tend to drift everywhere—even into my mouth. This spray is more direct, and I like that I can rub it in after applying, which feels cleaner and more controlled. The scent and strength might be a little much for some, but for me, the protection is worth it.

98% DEET? OFF brand is typically maybe 10-20% DEET. This stuff works well. However, as some other reviews state, this is not my favorite 'casual' insect repellent, meaning, if I were going to be outside all day, maybe hiking in the woods, this one is a great option. But, when I spray it, it only takes a moment and I find my legs/arms are all shiny and oily. Thus, I don't like this product if I am only going out for a bit to pull weeds or mow the lawn. But, if you need long-lasting, heavy-duty insect repellent this one is effective.

This product kept ALL the bugs away! It is a bit oily but for me I didn’t mind it. Lasted HOURS! Get it if you want the bugs off!!

I did a test among the top insect repellants and this one is the best. Did the job like several of the others, but it sprayed on with no scent and oddly enough a lack of feeling on the skin. Best of the best worth the extra coin. 1 bottle went for 2 months ( bad months) Bought it again.

Our favorite bug repellent! Isn’t super stinky! The mosquitos flock to me and they stay away when I use this!

I used this to repel mosquitoes during my morning run. It helped, but didn’t completely solve the problem. Normally, I’d be swarmed by mosquitoes as soon as the sun rises—this time I wasn’t, but I still got bitten by 2 or 3. Normally, it would be 6 or 7.The product is oily, which is actually a good thing—it doesn't wash away easily with sweat. It also doesn’t have a strong odor, which I appreciated.The issue is that it gave me what I’d describe as a mild allergic reaction. About two hours after applying it, my arms started to burn slightly and turned red by the end of my run. It improved after I showered. I’m not someone prone to allergic reactions—in fact, I can’t recall ever having one in my 40+ years—so this was unexpected.Unfortunately, I can’t keep using it and wouldn’t recommend it. I’ll be returning it and going back to using Off (which isn’t perfect either, but at least it doesn’t cause a reaction).
