Snappy red nonstick pan
Pretty red color, easy to handle with double handles. It is not too heavy and the bottom is flat so things like eggs don't travel around the pan if you're just making one or two. Cleans easily. I always seem to have problems with nonstick pans becoming nonstick fairly quickly so we'll see how this goes. I'm trying to use lower heat but sometimes if you want to stirfry something, you need high heat and I think I may just end up buying new pans that are less expensive from time to time as the expensive ones don't seem to work any better. I think this is a good value. I like the clear cover as well.

Not Just a Chicken Fryer--I Love It!!!
I love this pan and the color. It was a birthday gift to me from my mother. It is so much more than a chicken fryer. It is a deep self-basting pan. We have cooked juicy , stir fry, and homemade spaghetti meat sauce and many other items so far. I had purchased another pan similar to this from a big name chef and there was no buffer between the glass lid and the handle so the lid handle got too hot. Not so with this pan--the lid and pan handles are great and not hot. The pan and lid clean up so easily with dish soap and water. I love it and would highly recommend it to anyone considering purchasing it. Another winner from Paula :)

My new skillet. You will want one too!
Love her products. This ole gal can cook and having the right pans improves the experience. When it is easy to clean up after as well oh happy day. Wish I had the whole set of pots and pans. I also have a stock pot from her signature line. The skillet is a second. The first is always busy and like anyone can understand a backup skillet is handier than socks on a rooster as Barry says. We eat more stir fries now. I almost forget I have a deep fryer except for the fried bass. Love the color of this skillet too. My other one is the blue. I may have a new favorite.

RED IS IN FOR COOKWARE
Not only does it make my ktichen cookware shelf look pretty, hey!! WE'RE TALKING PAULA DEAN HERE the brand and the performance really speaks for itself; if someone out there has another opinion about this fryer it would surprise me; to me if ain't broke don't fix it -- and that means fixing it with words too! It ain't broke folks; and if there are any English teachers out there to jump on my vernacular and not the fryer - please don't I'm a retired English teacher... : )just having a little English language fun which is the same way I taught and the kids loved it just like I LOVE this fryer.

I have a lot of other Paula Deen Signature Porcelain cookware and love it, so I was pretty sure I'd love this. In fact, I do! I have the other chicken fryer with a long handle on it, and I love this one just as much. I've used it a couple of times already. I also love the color of it. When everybody was taking her cookware off the shelves (no comment here), I wasn't sure I'd be able to get anymore of her cookware. Thank you Amazon, for having another piece of it, and one I didn't already have!

Paula Deen Deep Fryer
First and foremost, I love, love Paula Deen and I purchased this in support of her. Very neat pan but it came in with the lid bent. It did not happen in shipping, the box did not have any kind of damage, so it was sent from Amazon like this. Doesn't have anything to do with how much I like the pan, just not fun to have to pack something up to send it back. I have not used the pan and still may return it.

What a great fryer!
I use this product several times per week for a variety of recipes and have made everything from fried chicken to rice, to casseroles, shrimp, jambalaya, omelets....you name it. The size is perfect for our family of 5 - we have an 18 year old, 16 year old and 12 year old, so we go through some major groceries! I love the handles that don't overheat and the see-through lid that you can also pick up without a pot holder. This fryer is definitely standing the test of time and frequent use - we hand wash all our pots and pans.

Paula's Chicken Fryer
The pan is beautiful and the handles are wonderful. I thought the pans would be a little heaver and the bottom is not very thick, I think things might stick very easy. We also bought her pan set and had the same problem with them. I cook a lot and do stews soups things like that and i am looking for a 22 quart stock pot. I read a lot of reviews on hers and said they have a thin bottom with lots of sticking problems.
