Model Builder
This one has a bunch of teenie tiny parts that take a very steady hand to put together. Other than that I’m really enjoying the build.

He loved it. I would recommend glue though.

Eh
This kit of Space Battleship Yamato is made by Bandai meaning the quality is excellent, with no flash and good plastic. The parts can also fit together without needing glue, although many parts such as the small anti-air guns require glue. To be honest this kit isn't as good, especially for it's price. It comes with an action stand but lacks the LEDs (which the LEDs are annoying to work with and don't fit in properly). Also many of the gun turrets have small pieces requiring you to put a ton of time into carefully assembling them. The main cannons don't fit that well and can be very loose, falling off easily or too stiff that they cannot move without them falling apart. The kit provides instructions and parts to make a 2202 version of the yamato without the augmented AA weapons, however the color of the plastic is set to the final battle refit version. Overall the ship and quality of the plastic is well-designed but it comes at a pretty expensive price.

Or as we here in the States call it, "The Argo"
What you will need to put together this model:A good exacto hobby knifeTweezersSomething to snip the more fragile pieces out of the parts treeGlue (yes, it is a snap tight model but I'll explain later)Magnifying glass (if your eyesight is less than good)Clean floors or a dedicated hobby roomGot this kit because I'm a fan of Star Blazers, always wanted a toy of The Argo, and thought the price was fair. If I had known what I was in for? I never would have bought it. Trust me, this is NOT a fun kit to put together and is NOT intended for the casual model builder. My main complaint is how freaking tiny the guns are! You will be working with turrets that are smaller than the thumb of a Marvel Legends action figure, and then have to put gun barrels that are smaller than a mouse's finger into them! What makes it worse is there are a LOT of them. It is a fact - you will drop these pieces trying to put them together and on the ship, so that is why I encouraged having super clean floors or a hobby room. What's even more frustrating is after you put them together? They will fall off the deck they're mounted to or out of the turret you just wracked your nerves putting them into. That is why you need the glue. Then prepare for the final insult as if the ship falls of the stand? The gun barrels will get bent and twisted from the impact. The rest of the kit is okay, and if you can manage not to break any pieces or lose them, you are rewarded with a nice representation of the ship. You can put LED's into this model (this kit does not come with them), but I decided not to.Overall, I would not recommend this for the casual model kit builder. I have over 30 years of experience in putting plastic models together and this one still kicked my rear. You need the eyes of an eagle, the patience of a saint, and the hands of a surgeon to put this offering together.

Timely delivery!
Some of the smaller turrets do not stay together, other than that pretty good model.

Cool Kit!
This model kit was a lot of fun to build, but at the same time pretty stressful. For starters there are certain particular Parts in this model kit that will require glue and for other parts that are so small you are going to need seriously good set of tweezers. But probably by far the one thing I really need to stress upon anyone that is interested into picking up this model kit. It is not design for beginning Builders and for those who are like seasoned vets we'll still find some aspects of the small kit extremely challenging.

LED lights not included
The kit is very detailed, but difficult to put together. It was not clear that the LED lights kit was not included. Very disappointing.
