Must Have for Work Service Vans
If you have a Work Service Van this is a must have. After getting my work van stolen and all my work tools taken I purchased these locks and installed them on my Work Van along with a Club on the steering wheel. Gave my company the reciepts to get reinbursed. They are easy to use and make serveral brackets for different vans. You have to select the Van you have and order the correct kit and your set. Took me about 1 hour to install both locks in place.

Super easy to cut off. Just gives false sense of security. But looks REAL pretty. Hence two stars
I had thought I had bought the best for all my trucks, and didn't really think about it. For $250+, you would think it is the best, right? Anyways, we recently had a truck broken into, and caught it all on dashcam. Thieves literally got past this lock set in 15 seconds with a sawz all, and got $10K of tools and inventory. In broad daylight at that. All you need to do is cut through the bracket behind the lock, and away you go. And the aluminum cuts incredibly easy.I went this route so our trucks look pretty, but are now going to go to bolted on Master Locks, as they have protection around the lock itself. It's too bad. I realized all the great reviews are for people who never had someone try and get into their truck with a simple sawz all.

a bracket to hold it when not in use
I liked that they look pretty sleek and strongit would be nice if there was a bracket to hold the lock when not in use .it just moves around the van when not beingen used

Does not fit Ford E250 2010!
Let me start by saying this is the first thing on Amazon I've felt compelled to write a review for. I tried to install the sliding door lock only to find that an attachment is required if you have a window on your sliding door. Not that big a deal as it can be bought off of slide locks official site, but it was an annoyance especially since there was nothing on this amazon page that mentions anything of the sort. I then went on to install the mounts on the rear doors in the meantime and discovered that the mounts I received do NOT fit my rear doors. There is a difference of a few millimeters which misalign the mounting holes of the plates. The only way the lock fit on is if I opened the door to be slightly ajar, which is a terrible compromise for a lock. I'll be returning these ones.

Only kinda slick...
I think this is an awesome idea. Not having to drill holes in my first brand new vehicle that I've ever owned is a huge plus!First thing I noticed when I opened the box was the quality of the locks themselves. I'm used to having "american lock" pucks on previous vans, and those things are SOLID and the locking mechanisms are a nice tight fit. The slick locks locking mechanism has quite a bit of play. But these things are only intended to keep honest folks honest.Second problem I had was with the install of the brackets on the rear swinging doors. The bracket on the "fixed" door didnt quite fit right. It was such a poor fit that the second door wouldn't even latch!I was able to make it work by elongating the mounting holes a bit and squeezing/bending in the vice.I think if i were a thief however, i would just run a sawzall between the lock and van and cut the bracket and lock off together. We're just keeping honest people honest though. Thanks for not making me drill holes in the van!
