is this dishwasher safe?

Hi, thanks for asking. Please do not put the carafe in the dishwasher, we recommend hand wash only.

My coffee will not stay hot. Is there some way to fix this

I pre-heat the pot with hot tap water first while I make the coffee. When coffee is made, dump or recycle the hot water from the pot and pour coffee in immediately after. My coffee stays hot for hours this way.

where is this carafe manufactured?

Bottom of box says made in China. Product is excellent. Keeps my beverages really hot. I have not used it yet for cold.

I'd suppose it's made in China.
