But request you to read further below.Most of us, including me are looking for deo that reduces body odor. But lets be honest that all the deo reduce body odor by overpowering them with strong fragrance and a little by controlling the odor causing bacteria. Sweat by itself doesn't smell and only when it prolongs on the skin the bacteria releases bad odor.So coming to the smell of this deo, its very mild and others nearby might not always be able to find if you have worn a deo. After trying many brands and types this is a kind of deo i liked. I have a very sensitive nose and can get a headache if the smell is something that i don't like. Though it's individual preference and perspective i feel the fragrance from this one is just perfect. I wear a perfume on my shirt for the actual fragrance.Coming to the ingredients, there is an increasing discovery of elements that can cause harm to body so we need to be careful on what we apply on our skin. This Silver protect deo does not have alcohol added as per the package so i feel it safer than other products. It does have denatured alcohol which is safer than regular alcohol.The packaging of the deo is not tamper-proof and Nivea should look into this seriously. (Reducing a star). The deo came well packed by amazon in bubble wrap and there were no spills.This Deo Roll-on does not feel oily or greasy like Deo-Sticks (which are creams in a tube), after hours of applying.Uploaded the video to show the consistency of the deo just in case you want to compare.If you are looking at Gas Deo Sprays, or Liquid Deo Sprays or Tubed Deo Stick or Deo Roll on, i would recommend you to use a the Deo Roll on as it easier to apply and not greasy/oily like Tubed Deo Sticks like Cinthol Deo stick, and more effective than Deo Sprays (Water and Gas).If you are looking for a Deo Roll on with more fragrance i would recommend Nivea Cool Kick (but has alcohol it like like most other dep sprays, sticks and roll-ons.).If you are not caring much about how strong the smell needs to be but need an effective anti-odor deo for a 6-7 hrs and one that does not feel greasy/oily then this Nivea Silver protect is good.

Update in August:Having used it in the peak of summers, I can maintain my review that the product is indeed very good.Original:The roll-on does its job very well. Although the weather isn’t very hot yet, I used it last year and am confident it would do the job of keeping the odour down in peak summers as well.The product claims to control perspiration, which I don’t feel really happens. However, it controls the odour well. You should bear in mind though it doesn’t have a proactive smell of its own, so it won’t replace a deo spray. If you want to emanate a strong smell, you’d have to go with deos or perfumes. This product controls the bad odour and has a very light pleasant smell of its own which only you can sense sometimes.Pros:- Excellent price on amazon- lasts more than a month with liberal daily use- easy to hold and apply- its glass body and design look good tooCons:- its glass body may be a con for some- it won't replace the need for a deo, doesn't have a fragrance of its own. It just controls the bad odour, doesn't release any pleasant odour of its own.Summary:The price in the market is around 175, so the deal on amazon at 131 is pretty good. You can buy without a doubt if you enjoy roll-on deos. Does the job it is advertised for.** Pls take half a second and click on 'helpful' if you find this helpful :) **

Update: You can now get US level quality antiperspirants in India. Dove Unisex Anti-Perspirant Deodorant (Cucumber 40hrs) is pretty good. But I also now own a clinical Degree and Secret one. A good antiperspirant is better than Deodorant any day.Scent: Woman here. The scent is a little masculine, but not manly per se. I would say it is neutral/unisex because it barely lasts for 1 hour and is very mild. We can easily wear perfume with it. Unscented antiperspirant is hard to find in India, so this is ok.Longevity: I took a shower last night, and then applied it and went to bed. After waking up, I have done nothing but laze around on a bed. It is 3 PM (17 hours since my shower) and I am sweating and sticky. I am a woman, I definitely sweat less than a man. I don't think their 48 hours thing is at all justified. If I had done any activity- even something like cooked in the kitchen, this would have worn off way earlier. Definitely would need to shower after exercise, won't stand up to any activity.Freshness: It works well while it works- I did not sweat while sleeping and I still do not smell! Even though I am sticky now, I still do not smell bad. I don't feel fresh anymore, but I prefer that over smelling bad, so huge positive lol. The sticky feel does mean that I need two showers/day if I use this. But that is okay.Overall: I wish it actually lasted 24 hours at least, without feeling icky. But better than nothing, and it is super cheap. I will keep trying other brands though. Overall 4/5. I am just used to better quality antiperspirants, but they aren't available in India. So, this is good enough.
