I love this mat so much and I am it's biggest fan so I sing it's praises to whoever wherever. I have a yoga instructor that likes it HOTTTTTT and when I started taking his class my old mat was very hard to work with. This mat is made for those hot, sweaty classes. The mat keeps you from slipping as it gets wet, the more sweat the more sticky the mat gets. I also love the velvety texture of the mat and it's thick enough but not so thick it throws off your balance. It comes with a strap and is easy to roll up and roll out. The mat is very well made and I don't see any signs of wear on the mat at all and that's after maybe 2 years of use 5 classes a week. The size is perfect for me (I'm 5'3") to stretch out all the way on but it's a little longer than the mats that lifetime provides for use which I like because I can put my mat over the gym's mat and none of the gym mat is exposed or touching me. The design is my favorite part it's just so cute and girly in my opinion. I love flowers over a dark background and this is just so cute and beautiful it gets me into my yoga mood. All in all it's great quality, very durable, very slip resistant and dries quickly. Note: I'd say if it takes you longer to build up a sweat you can spray your mat before your practice with plain water to activate the stickiness right away.

I loved this mat. Everyone in my heated yoga class loved it as well. Was a little slippery in my first downward dog, but got more grip as the class went on.

I love the colors/design of this yoga mat. I like that it grips the floor. It looks and initially feels very thin, but you do get used to it and find it comfortable. I like that with a pup and a cat with claws it doesn't flake if they have been on it. It rolls up into a tighter roll than my old yoga mat. I haven't tried to wash it yet, but like the option. It does have a bit of a smell to it when you first get it that dissipates over time, but it does take awhile if you don't wash it first. I have been using it regularly for yoga, strength, and pilates.

So, I have practiced at a dry heat and humid heat studio and all four times this mat has held up to its promise. At the dry heat studio, they have wood floors, so my mat did slip a bit, but not my feet on the mat. It was floor to mat issue.This is by far the best mat I have owned. I will never buy another life for me mat given the price and how hard they are to keep clean.This mat, seriously I just toss in my washing machine with a pod and some sanitizer, and my mat is so fresh and clean. Does not cause any slipping, ripping, peeling or anything like that to comprise the mat. Or my practice.When I cleaned my life for me mat, I had to haul it outside, use soap and a big brush and scrub it clean like once a week. I never thought it got clean enough plus the grip of the mat after 6 months left me. I was slipping all over my mat!! I was so upset, still upset I spent 160 bucks. I used the amount and type of soap Life for Mat recommends to.I am so happy with this mat I am buying another one to keep in my car for random yoga moments. Finally found a yoga mat designed for hot yoga that does what it says it will!!! I'm a hot yoga instructor and have been through several mats and mat towels with lackluster results until this mat. I teach heated Vinyasa Flow, so there is constant movement on the mat, which causes problems with towels because they move around and slip. You won't need a towel on top of this mat and it absorbs sweat well so the surface isn't slippery while you practice. It works better AFTER you begin to get sweaty, because that improves the grip. The materials are high quality and the mat has a good weight to it that keeps it flat and in place on the floor. I've been using this mat for two months now and just recently bought a second one to have as a back up. I teach 2-4 classes a week on average and also do my own practice and this mat seems to be holding up well. The only caveat I would mention is that it can be a little slippery when you first unwrap it because there is a little bit of a coating on there (especially where the graphics are) that needs to be removed before the grip works right. Just clean it with a gentle cleanser and dampen the mat with a spray bottle before you practice the first few times you use it and this fixes that issue.
