Could anyone tell me the shelf life of this milk powder?

I don’t know the shelf life bit it is not lactose free

Is this suitable for use in bread makers?

I don't know. I only use it for tea.

Does this taste good in tea? Roughly how many cups would you get out of one bag?

I'll have to be rather vague answering this. 1. I have not tried this dried milk yet so I cannot comment on the taste. 2. Based on dried non-lactose free milk powder (e.g. Marvel) you need to add 1-2 teaspoons of to a cup of tea. A teaspoon of dried milk probably weighs about 5 grams. So assuming adding 5 to 10 g of dried milk a 400 g of dried milk should be enough for 40 to 80 cups of tea.

Has anyone tried this in a dolce gusto pod? Does it work?

Well, it's not the same as fresh milk, but, yes, it does 'work'. Like most powders, it's best to make a paste first, then slowly mix in the rest of the water. Good to have in the cupboard, and good for camping/ hiking.
