Bought for 10yr old son, currently a purple stripe belt in karate. He has actual nunchucks but wanted some for home practice/play as to not damage his karate ones.Good quality, item as described. Son can be hard on items and these have survived this far.

Perfect to practice with

A little light but works well for practice
I ended up inserting wooden dowels in mine to make them about as heavy as my wood ones. The way they were when I got them they were a little too light and had too much bounce and too much weight centered toward the metal end. Once I did that, they are great. All that said, starting out with them a bit too light and bouncy with that imbalance is GOOD for training in the beginning because it encourages better technique. I did leave one un-modified so that I still had a light one to practice with solo and something I could use in VERY light sparring and drills.
