Q: What’s the difference between the spl 6x9 and mpx 6x9?

Hey Trina, the SPL is designed to play higher and louder with little bass, while the MPX plays fuller and low frequencies for a richer sound. The SPL is also waterproof so it works perfectly on motorcycle bags

I cannot compare them to the HCX but they play low and sound much warmer than I expected a 3 way 6x9 too. They sound much better than the SPL Show 6.5.

Those "grills" set you back $200...lol...Hertz jacked up their prices by 33% this year. Woofers ETC is the real deal. I got mine from them last year during the car audio shortage. They cancelled an order for my DSR1, later that afternoon, one of their representatives called me to let me know he had personally located one and asked if I still wanted it. Great customer service. They are the real deal and they pound for 6x9's.
