Which kind of track is this Hiro compatible with? We have the wooden kind.

Just type in the search box at Amazon - thomas the train plastic tracks.... my grandson has several of the little sets and we purchased extra track. That Hiro will not work on the wooden tracks.

Is it harmful to the mechanics of the engine if these are pushed on trackmaster tracks without actually turning on the motorized engine?

My grandson pushes them all the time when the battery runs out and it hasn't affected the motor.
