didnt fit our tub
if the curtain sleave were narrower and moved to inner side another inch or so it would have fit. also the feet on the tub legs were akward because of the curve on the bottom of the tub.

Great for a disabled person to shower
We have a walkin shower, no doors just curtain. This fits perfectly letting my wife slide onto the bench from the wheelchair and into the shower. She had been doing sink showers for 3 weeks. Now she feels like a human being again at least being able to get in and out of the shower even on her own. I do have to setup the bench when she needs it. But it is a lifesaver.Pros : VERY sturdy. No slip feet and will grip the shower floor. Solid construction. Easy to assemble. Very comforting for wife that she feels confident using it by herself.Cons : zero.

Sturdy and well made
I am 92 and getting in and out of the tub wasn’t easy. However this beach is perfect for me. I can slid myself in and pull the shower curtain through the space provided . Works well and recommended

Great for using with shower curtain
It's definitely worth it to pay the extra to be able to run the shower curtain through and have a bit more privacy and dry floors. And the handle and bench are quite sturdy and easy to assemble. My only concern is that it would help to have more different heights. It was tough to have the bench go over our tall tub and then adjust the legs to be level (the tub floor is higher than the actual floor). But we have been using it for almost a year with success and no falls, so it's a win.

No water on the floor
I thought long and hard before ordering that shower chair. So many had said it did not fit their tub. For me it is a tight fit, but it does fit. I was also thinking how it cost so much more than others. Well, it is worth the extra cost. It is made better in my opinion. Now I am able to take a shower with worrying about falling trying to lift my legs over the side of the tub.

Works great
I have had transfer benches before but I like this one the best. The slot for the shower curtain liner is great. It really does save your floor. The only thing it is a little big for my bathtub. I have placed a protective barrier between the bars in my bathtub to protect the tub from any scratches. I think the company should look at a re-design.

Does not fit our tub
The description says it "fits any tub" but it doesn't.Let me start off by saying that the first one shipped was missing a part of the seat. How does that even happen?I got the replacement today, assembled it and it doesn't fit in our tub. The "revolutionary" design hits the side of the tub before the inner feet touch the tub, even with the legs fully extended. The only way to make it work is to flip it around, remove the back and the side arm, negating the curtain catch feature. Total waste of money. Do not buy this chair.

Easy to Use, Keeps Bathroom Dry While Showering
The Drive Splash Defense Tub Transfer Bench is a must have for post-surgical needs for those with a tub/shower combo. It was easy to put together with no tools required. My PT taught me to sit down on the bench, scoot to the back of the bench, bring the legs into the tub, move the shower curtain through the slot, and shower. A dual shower head with a wand is helpful for rinsing. It’s not fool-proof, though, because any water that is splashed on the back ledge of the tub can roll down to the floor in the back of the tub, so it’s helpful to remove area rugs around the tub and put a towel down on the floor in the back of the tub to catch what little water goes on the floor. It was also helpful to put a towel over the tub before placing the Splash Defense in the tub to prevent any scratching of the tub.

excellent design but needs a low profile tub
Assembly, on my own, was tool less and quite straight forward and easy.Since this is an accessibility device, I suppose it should be the ideal case that it's an accessible (low profile) tub.Unfortunately the tub in our accessible condo ISN'T a low profile tub -- the curtain channel bars hits a "normal" height tub wall so the outside legs can't touch the floor.Contacted the seller and the return arrangements were immediate, quick and easy. Very courteous.Would have preferred to use this chair but this ended as well as possible -- great service!
