The thermostat works as described, had good sensitivity to room temperature and was easy to install and set. It works with 3-conductor thermostat wire (instead of 4-conductor) by putting a jumper btwn terminal 1 and R at the thermostat. Readout is visible straight-on, so mount it at eye level.

This product works perfect. The slab sensor has made a major improvement in maintaining a steady temperature with the in floor heat. I set the floor at 68 and the air at 64 and the air temp stays a constant 64.5 - no more overshooting the mark by 4 degrees. I only gave 4 stars because I think to make it better would be to add a outside monitoring sensor. It was a major improvement to a t-stat that only monitors the air temperature . I would recommend the product.
