I bought a 15 needle embroidery machine expecting it to come with a laser. it did not. I ordered this, attached it to the side of the head, lined it up with needle one and the needle hole in the needle plate and the rest is history. It works so well, it has it’s own power button so I can leave it off if I don’t need it. I can adjust it if I need to, but it really stays put. It’s very bright, and works so well, it saved me a ton of money in the long run.

Makes aligning your project so easy. I used with Embroidery Design Placement & it takes away 'guess work'! Would definitely recommend for perfect alignment every time!

This are a great buy. You will not be disappointed with the ease of install and set up. They are bright and work great. Now we just have to wait and see what kind of life we get out of them. If they last over 3 years they will be well worth the price paid for 2 lights!! Hopefully they last for 5 or more years!! 🙏

Did not turn on. Tried multiple outlets, so that is not the issue. Can't return due since the return window is now closed. Should've opened it earlier and tried it. Very disappointing.

Not great but okay. Moves a lot while sewing and the laser is quite wide. Very hard to stabilize while doing chain piecing having to readjust often. Just not for me.

This item is exactly as pictured. I am going to use it for hooping instead of paying way more for the PALs one. All I did was velcro to desk instead of machine so it goes downward to use. I can't wait to use it. Light turned on well and came with 2 other attachments.

The power cord is too short to go from my machine to the nearby outlet. The laser cord is too long to comfortably drop from the top of my machine to a reasonable distance from the sewing table. The red laser line is 1/4” thick when the head is 2” above the sewing surface - way too thick to be useful. I unscrewed the head slightly as other reviewers suggested which did narrow the line to 1/8” but given the unwieldiness of the whole situation, how long the laser cord was would have required massive finagling on the top of my sewing machine to get it to come down to the right point, and getting in the way of some of my buttons, and having to permanently affix the power button in order to keep the laser cord from wiggling sideways, and using an extension cord to get the thing long enough to plug in. It just was too much hassle to have to mess around with every time I want to use this, while still not having a very accurate thin clear line, so I’m returning it.
