Perfect and feels great! πΈππ½
The media could not be loaded. I was struggling to find a listing that was specifically for the Kindle I have. It's pretty old as I bought it used off of mercari but the image comparing Kindles really helped. The case itself is amazing I like how it feels and it doesn't feel cheap. The purple looks really good in person. It's easy to use and put on the Kindle. The Kindle turns on and off with opening and closing. And it stays closed with magnets. Overall very satisfied with this purchase.

A new cover for my kindle
After 8 yrs. my kindle cover bit the dust. I found a new cover and I love it. Fits my kindle great, has all the ports I needed. I love the design

Functional, attractive cover
I replaced the old cover (made by Marware) for my 2012 Kindle Fire HD 7 (which is still going strong, just like new). I had dropped my Kindle too many times and finally broke a plastic corner piece of the Marware cover, so I replaced it with this one. The Marware cover had a built in plastic frame that the Kindle sat in with strong corner protection. This one does not have that same protection, it seems. This Fintie cover is pretty to look at and fits my model Kindle well. Cover was easy to put on.I'd prefer that it didn't have magnetized on/off switch but I have gotten used to it.It's nice that there is a cut-out area to plug in the charger.Fold up piece on back is helpful for propping Kindle up to read (I flip the screen to horizontal reading). There is a loop for a stylus which I do not use.The exterior cover is made of a good material that seems to repel dirt and droplets. The interior cover is a felt-type material and is already getting dirty. There is a cut-out in the 'black border' where the camera lens and light sensor operate (I cover my camera with black electrical tape). While I don't love this cover as much as the old Marware version, I'm happy to find a functional and nice looking cover for the old model! However, I don't know if this version will protect it as well as the Marware cover when it's dropped. Overall, I would recommend it.

Works good
This was a good price and it works fine and looks really nice and I think it feels like it will protect my kindle from damage if it was dropped. Not in an extreme drop from like a long ways up but in regular use. The stand works well. Within a day or two of having it and putting a stylus into the little elastic holder on the side it started to fray and seems like it will continue to do so but I've been cutting it as it goes.. Still good for what I paid.**I wanted to update this review now that we have had it for almost a year and say that I no longer use any stylus with my kindle so I don't use the holder and it is in fine shape and stopped fraying. I can't say what the state of it would be were I still using it but the actual case is great. It has held up so well, still looks new, my 2 & 4 year olds have put it through the ringer and it sees a lot of use in our family and it still looks like new, doesn't have any wear on it that you could see and the stand has held up very well and is easy to operate for the girls so I really am glad I bought this. It is definitely worth more than I paid.

Best case for your money
I bought this item on October 17, pretty soon after I bought my Kindle (HD 7), and now, on May 4, almost seven months later, it still holds up well. :)Color: I was specifically looking for an orange case at the time, and I was impressed by the variety of colors that Fintie offers. This was before they offered prints as well, and the selection of those tempts me to buy another case. The orange case came exactly as pictured. It is bright, but not neon.Ease of use: It is very easy to get the Kindle in and out of the case, but it will never fall out by accident. The velcro flap keeps the Kindle secure. All of the ports are fully accessible, whether the case is open or closed. However, as with most cases, the cover does flip all the way around when the Kindle is plugged in. But no big deal, I just unplug, flip the cover, and plug it back in.Durability: Now the case does show some wear and tear, especially around the cutouts for the ports. There is a rubber-like substance that connects the faux leather exterior from the soft interior, and it has begun to peel off a bit. Of course, my Kindle goes EVERYWHERE with me, so I expected that. But even for faux leather, it cleans well. I got some ink stain on the back, and they came right off with a little dab of leather cleaner.Hands-free: This case can easily be converted into a horizontal viewing stand as pictured. I wish it converted into a vertical stand as well, but hey, win some, lose some.Extra features: I love having the little elastic loop for my pen. I draw on my Kindle frequently, and it's nice to have a secure place to keep the pen when I'm not using it.Overall: 5 stars. Well worth the money.
