I purchased these clips to fasten down some of the edges of my boat cover. Helps when you need to secure hard to reach areas. Holds the material tight and allows for simple lashing of cord to the trailer frame. Nice & handy to have!!

These clips/clamps are great. I don't use them to hold down a tarp, but my bet sheet. I know its an odd use. I am 66 years old, single and retired, living in a small studio apartment. My king size mattress is my bed, desk, sofa, dinner table all in one. When I am not doing something, I am in my bed. I am lying directly on the wrap-around bed sheet. I only use a small comforter at night. The problem is that this bed sheet no matter how well you wrap it around the bed and tuck it under the bed, it will always pull out, and look like crap. I get up and down at leas t20 times a day, so I am adjusting it at least twice a day. I tried other smaller clips, but they all pop off or loosen within a day. These clamps work fantastic. They are adjustable and will clamp things up to at least 3/8" thick. I have a round rib that goes around the top and bottom of the mattress. I clamp the sheet to these ribs and use the hole in the clamp to attach to the bed with string and a screw. That way when you remove them they stay with the bed. I use 3 or 4 on each side on the bottom rib and 3 along the headboard on the top rib of the mattress. I locate them where there is the greatest weight (see picture). I don't need any at the foot of the bed. These clamps are very easy to use and look to be unbreakable. One full turn on the locking nut and you can easily remove them or adjust them. They will not pull off and stay firmly in place, so no more sheet adjustment. I only wash the sheet every couple of months, but keep it fresh and clean with sprays once a week. I do this because it is a real bother to remove and put this sheet back on with the type of bed I have and all the stuff I have on the bed that has to be removed and placed back on. Great price too and I received in one day.

There's not much to say about tarp clips except these are solidly built and close well. I don't know how they will do if exposed to sunlight for an extended period, but I am pleased with the apparent quality and good quantity at a good price. With 10 - you can expand possible applications. I used two of them to attach webbing to a backpack that needed a waist belt - with a buckle in the middle. The tarp clips secure the ends to the shoulder straps and they are tight and snug - and if I need to remove them later - they are as easy to remove as to apply. Of course, these are tarp clips and they will work fine for that use.

I had purchased a similar type that use a slide to tighten the grip. They were hard on this old fingers.This type with the screw tightener are far easier to use. I need to get some more as I keep finding more uses for them.

Got these for tarps, but realized they can be used in lots of ways. I am using my imagination.

I toss and turn and get overheated when I sleep. Do you know what makes that worse? When the fitted sheet gets loose and jammed all around your body. A few years ago I came up with the brilliant idea to use a tarp clip to tighten down my fitted sheet all around the bed and the top sheet to the end of the bed. The tarp clips I used for that were a cam-lock design and worked perfectly! With those cam-lock clips and 1-inch nylon webbing, I could get the top sheet as tight as a drum head.A month ago I needed to borrow the cam-lock clips for a white backdrop in my video studio so I ordered these as a replacement. The original cam-lock clips were no longer available. These clips are terrible for a bed sheet. The tolerance is so loose that the sheet just slips out... or rips because the teeth on this clamp are sharp. So back they went to Amazon. But good news, I found an alternative cam-lock clip on Amazon!
