The only tag on it says “hand wash, made in China”. It seems well made of quality materials.

Is it long enough for makeup brushes?

I believe it is. But would depend on how long your brushes are. The bag measures 9 inches across the zippered top and tapers to 8 inches at the bottom. Hope this helps.
