Q: Do I have to buff skis with a cork of felt brush after applying this liquid wax?

On the bottom of the wax container there is a cap. Pull that off and there is a felt pad to buff your skis with. I used to use an old sock or rag but this new applicator has everything built in.

Q: can I apply this to cold skis ? Must the skis be at room temperature ?

It works (applies) best in room temp conditions, but still works good in cold weather condition! I like this product very much! Works well for a quick wax not for base coat!

Q: How does this wax work for above 32 degrees

The was has worked well for me at all snow temperatures. Snow temperature is what matters and will never exceed 32 degrees Fahrenheit or it is water.

Q: Will this work for ice hockey goalie pads to slide better?

Well, Gee...! I'm not a hockey player but I AM a skier... and I wouldn't be without my F4 Swix Wax! Fast and easy on, and really does the job. Yesterday I put TWO coatings of Swix Wax on my skis, letting the first coat dry first. And boy, did those babies take off! I'm like, "Hey, wait for me!" So yes, I suspect they'd work on goalie pads. BTW I'm an expert skier so I do give my skis a workout.
