There is a previous review mentioning this part in the photo attached. It is too tight for it to fit. Bend it just a smidge and you are all set. It’s quite easy to bend, just be gentle. Otherwise, it works just fine. Now that i know how this latch works and how it is constructed, I don’t slam my trunk anymore…I will update my review overtime.2017 Kia Forte LX

Great product, the installation was easy and straightforward. It looks like the original piece.

Installation was mostly easy except for the fact that the trunk release cable would not fit the metal groove too easily. It’s slightly more narrow than the original kia part. ( replacement on left , kia part on right of 1st photo ). I used a hammer to hit the metal portion of the cable behind the groove and it worked to get it in there. It will not budge!Best part of all , my trunk now closes both will the inside lever and key fob.I will update this review in a couple weeks once I’ve truly tested the quality of this replacement latch.

Un buen producto y de buena calida, cabe mencionar que no tra el motor para abrir con la llave pero creo que por el precio esta bastante bien, (muy recomendado)

Excelente relación precio-calidad, mucho mas barato que el original y son idénticos espero que su duración sea buena

Después de 2 meses de uso, sigue funcionando a la perfección y muy acordé a las dimensiones originales.
