like the size, sleekness, intent of functionality.Down side is that apparently the batteries they had sent it with were not very good and it died fairly soon...or perhaps they got drained from it having a mind of its own and constantly opening and closing when no one was next to it.

If failed miserably twice. The top that opens up on battery power has come off twice. Once on each unit. I have contacted the seller directly twice and no reply. I insist on o refund into my Amazon Creot Account for both immediately. Don’t tell me about the warranty being expired or some other foolishness. I bought one in February and one in March. Garbage Cans should last got years not months. I hope you come back with a favorable answer for us. Otherwise we’re going to miss doing business with you. Your third party sellers are not up to Amazon STANDARDS. You were PHENOMENAL ATOME POINT. I’ll be calling you after lunch for your decision. Don’t make me tell the story twice. The item functioned as depicted. We have found great, continued use for it. We have had it for over 6 moths and have only had to change the batteries once. This after we noticed that it was opening slower than normal.

I purchased this touchless bathroom trash can earlier this year, and unfortunately, I am very disappointed. While it looks sleek and modern, the quality just doesn’t hold up. After only two months of use, the sensor stopped working entirely, which defeats the purpose of a touchless design. Additionally, I noticed that the can began to rust, so it’s clearly not waterproof as advertised. This makes it unsuitable for bathroom use, where moisture is inevitable. It might be okay for a dry space like a bedroom, but for a bathroom, it’s a poor choice. Sadly, it’s now too late for a refund. I would not recommend this product if you’re looking for something durable for your bathroom.

I’ve been using this trash can for a few days and so far, I would say that it’s okay. I like the metal base, which makes the style of the trash can look sleek and high quality. The other plus (which was what caused me to choose this trash can in the first place) was the slot for the trash bag handle and the ease in removing the bag without hassle and also without creating a mess. I also didn’t have much issue with the sensor and the lid opening and closing haphazardly like others did – though I think placement plays a role here, as I’m using this as a bathroom trash can next to the toilet so there are no obstructions or anything that would trigger the sensor unnecessarily.With all that said, the 2 things I didn’t like about this trash can: the price and the design. I agree with the many other reviews out there that said this trash can is way overpriced – it is! I’ve bought other similar quality trash cans (same size and with motion sensor lid) for way less – I honestly don’t understand what makes this one so much more expensive (if it’s the slot in the front to easily remove the trash bag, I would say, despite how much I like that feature, it’s not worth the price). Speaking of trash bags…I read through some of the reviews, but so far, I didn’t see any mention of the soft, rubbery section at the top of the inner basket – anyone know what this is for? The problem is that this section is too bendy and soft compared with the rest of the basket, to the point that it causes the trash bag to sag crookedly once the lid is put back on. Not only that, the sagging confines the space in the trash can (unless I stick my hand inside to move the trash around, which of course I’m not going to do). I’m not sure if this is a design flaw or what, but to me, that soft bendy section doesn’t seem necessary (or make that section smaller rather than a quarter of the top of the inner bin).As I mentioned earlier, this was okay overall. I definitely wouldn’t purchase another one though, especially not for the price currently listed.
