Bought as a temporary fix whilst usual oven /hob out of action.and it has worked well .stays hot for a while after use.so common sense handling and storage required.

Using this whilst my kitchen is being renovated - which could be some time !Its very good - heats to hot quickly - economical -and saves me power .Im theilled with its versatility… may even get an electric hob after using this little beauty 😃

It stopped working after two months. I cooked one meal today and now I want to cook another one and it's not warming up.And yesterday a small flame became visible underneath. What is going on?

Pretty basic hotplate. Perfectly useful, but the red light signifying heat is intermittent, which makes it easy to burn yourself or forget to turn it off.
