I should I contact them that I only received 1 pack? Where is the other pack of 7?

Q: I like a lot of heat can I put directly on my skin

*Technically* yes. However, I would be very careful as the instructions suggest otherwise. I've been using these for about 10 years now (directly on my skin) & I swear by them, especially for joint pain & in all that time, I've only had it 'blister' once. I've found that the 24Hr ones, heat up, stay that way for a while, cool down and then like re-activate. It's during this period of getting hot again, that they can get hot enough to blister if they're secured on your skin

Q: Why can’t they be applied to skin like others in the same range?

The reason is the heat is so strong it will burn your skin, and it does last about 24-hours. I use them not just for my bad back but also when I'm going to stand outside in the cold for a long time. ie Outings to Gardens, or visiting people that don't have heating on in their houses.

Q: Would these pads help for a frozen shoulder?

Not really. The pads will be warm for 5-10mins and sticks better on the lower back
