SB Plant Invigorator 500ml Concentrate

This is the second bottle of this I have bought now. I got the smaller one last year to treat spider mite which was killing my greenhouse strawberry plants. Had the same problem again this year so bought the bigger bottle this time as I know it works really well.The product is easy to mix and economical being a concentrate, though refilling a pressure sprayer can be a little difficult because it does foam quite a bit.The product contains no nasty chemicals and can be applied to both ornamental and edible crops with no delay between spraying and harvesting. The product works by contact rather than systemic action, so you do need to completely saturate both upper and lower leaf surfaces to catch all the pests you are trying to kill. From experience it works great on spider mite and greenfly, though with spider mite you do need to spray repeatedly over a few weeks to catch any newly ones. This is the only down side if one exists, but then again this is the compromise you pay for a non-toxic product that has no nasty residues and does not linger in the plants system. It also gives the plant a foliar feed so they green up and recover nicely from the pest attack.Brilliant stuff, thoroughly recommended.

Used to treat mildew and after two treatments was much improved, left for a week and another treatment plant now fully recovered, tried bicarbonate soda and soap before and didn’t do much good! So highly recommended buying this amazing stuff.

I've been using this for years and generally have very little problems with my houseplants. The bottle lasts for ever as you dilute it.

Cheaper on the long run compared to the spray which I have always used in the past. Dual action foliar nutrient and on-contact pesticide. The seller also dispatched quickly and they offered the best price.

Have been using for 8 months or more to control scale and mealy bug. Not convinced it's been that effective especially against scale against which it appears to have no effect. May have worked better against mealy bugs but even for those I think a more effective approach was to put the plant outside for a while and/or pick them off manually or paint them with 70% alcohol using a long artists brush. I'm still using it to spray/mist susceptible plants, on the upside it doesn't appear to do any harm. It does dilute significantly so a bottle of it does last a long time, so, probably worth a punt.

This is great for aphids , a lot less toxic and aggressive while still being effective , with a bonus of feeding the plant through the leafs. Great for Japanese maples. Goes very far with a pump sprayer too as it’s a concentrated version

Have tried dozens of insecticides over a lifetime but must say that this one seems to be the best so far.The main advantage is that it can be used every week,and the aphids as they hatch are basically drowned,but the good thing is that a weak foliar feed has been included along with a fungicide?Only think of getting the product from these guys who make it.Half the price and postage was free.You will need a sprayer unless you have plenty of money ,and then purchase the ready to use bottle.I have tried both but realised that with a cheap pressure(ideally) sprayer the price of each spray becomes pennies,not poundsAdded bonus is that according to useage it is safe for edible crops,and used by commercial growers.Lots of reviews on various gardening web site under SB plant invigorator.Expect copies to start appearing as other manufactures realise this one is a winner.Aphids can not become resitant and good insects not killed.Can be used indoor or outside.Check out my plants on (...) to see practical pictures on treated plants.

Doing a great job sorting out an aphid infestation on my chillies and appears to be boosting growth and vigour of my tomato plants, as well as making my houseplants look healthier, too. I'd certainly recommend this foliar feed/pest controller and I won't hesitate ordering it again, though, it goes so far I don't think I'll have to for a while.
