Hard to Believe It’s This Cheap!
This is only 1 week after install, so I don’t have a good “durability”review yet. However, I will update if I run into issues. This was a perfect fit on my 2012 Chrysler T&C minivan 3.6L. We just rolled over 170k miles on it and I had done an oil change just 3 days before I came home to seeing a massive oil puddle under the van. I knew right away that it was the housing. I went searching online, found and watched a couple “How To” videos, decided it was doable, and created my plan of attack. This job is doable for anyone with the ability to follow steps on an instructional YouTube video. I have no mechanical background and have only managed simple jobs like oil changes, brake pads, thermostats, AC recharging, and cosmetic fixes. I will say this job was scary, especially looking into the “belly of the beast” with the valves wide open, but it’s a fairly easy job - just tedious! Here’s a few things I learned in all my research and time doing the job. 1) Don’t replace it with another plastic housing. Buy this upgraded aluminum housing. While the plastic housing looked okay on mine, it just makes more sense for a part that’s under so much constant intense heat to not be made from plastic. Upon removal, it wasn’t the housing that went bad, either. Two of the o-rings had completely fallen apart! I bought this cheap off-brand aluminum housing (any will suffice, but I leaned toward this one because it had a lot of positive reviews). If you do this, save yourself the future headache and buy the Mopar Engine O-Ring Kit - 68191356AA to replace the o-rings that come on the aftermarket housing. I read multiple reviews from other housing options that said people had to go back in and replace the o-rings because they were junk, so just get the Mopar kit right off the bat. Also, don’t use the coolant and oil sensors that come on them. Either buy new Mopar sensors, or reuse the ones from the old housing (that’s what I did). Those sensors go bad and just don’t work on the aftermarket housings.2) This is the most important thing that NO ONE talks about doing this job. It’s 100% normal to still see some oil spots under the van for about 70-100 miles after replacing the housing. All the residual oil from the old housing’s blowout is warming up and falling off the undercarriage of the van! I saw these spots and freaked out, but after 70ish miles, there’s none to be seen.Currently 200 miles in on this aluminum housing and I’ve had no issues. Saved me hundreds of dollars on the Mopar option, and doing it myself saved me hundreds of dollars in shop fees!

It fits perfectly
This item worked great it fit just like OEM but will last longer since it is metal on metal not metal on plastic as the one from factory.

Oil Cooler leaked excessively after 200 miles of use
This is not a simple repair/replacement as you have to take off a number of parts to get to the oil cooler. I also had to remove the pressure sensor and replace it with the original from the OEM part as the Amazon oil cooler did not fit the electrical attachment. After installing the product, it failed after 200 miles of use with oil leaking excessively. I had to spend another large amount of time to replace it and I chose an OEM Mopar part which fit perfectly with NO LEAKS. During the troubleshooting of the leak, I spoke with a master mechanic who has done many of these oil cooler repairs and he always recommends using the Mopar OEM part and not the aftermarket. Chrysler is well aware of this leak issue but have designed the part to expand/contract with the aluminum block. My advice is to not buy this part and waste your time. Spend the extra money and get the OEM Mopar part.

Better than OEM
The quality of this replacement is better than the original. The original part is all plastic and as expected, it will be break ( i added a pic of the part replaced). This part came in very well packaged. I had an issue with the oil sensor and customer service responded around the clock to every message I sent. I understand small issues can happen with any product. And this one deserves 5 stars for their customer support.

Eh it’s okay.
Easy to install. However the oil sensor was already faulty out the box. I will probably get new gaskets as well these seem cheap.

It repairs a poorly designed oil cooler
For everyone with a 3.6 L pen star you will have to have one of these and this is the one to get. It’s much cheaper than the plastic thing that they put on your vehicle must have..
