Enterade is NOT delicious. The berry is ok, and I've gotten used to it. Now I drink at least one bottle a day. The nutritionist recommended twice a day, but 1) this stuff is pricey and 2) it is NOT delicious. That being said, it is magical. The cancer related drug side effect of the big D has pretty much resolved. I can put up with a less than delicious berry bottle to not have to worry about pooping my pants. (I did get through the vanilla bottles because i paid for them and I'm cheap.. but never again. The vanilla tastes nasty.). I wish there were more options in flavor. I also wish the HSA worked for this.

My husband has throat cancer, and the worst part of treatment, we were told, would be the side effects from radiation and chemo. Severe weight loss, diarrhea, anemia, loss of the sense of taste. Lost appetite - the list goes on. Not fun. And the doctors closely monitor how much weight you lose, whether you are eating and staying hydrated, all of it. The bottom line is that the better you handle GI symptoms, the better you can fight cancer.I’m so glad I found enterade AO. It combats the worst of the side effects by protecting the GI tract. It truly works. I can tell the difference between how my husband looks and feels compared to the other patients doing similar daily radiation. I can’t say it’s all due to the enterade, but he has had far fewer problems than the doctors expected. He is still eating solid food and maintaining muscle mass, and his treatment has gone extremely well. Enterade is worth every single penny.
