Great for stopping anyone from accessing OBD port.
This product is easy to use and install. Once installed it was hard to remove. Although Installed my first one and right after it clicked/locked into place the top arm piece broke. BUT their customer service was quick and got right back to me and offered to send me another free unit as a replacement with another new arm! While it did break whether it was a fluke or not the best materials, I believe the company still deserves a good rating for their great customer service which is hard to find anymore.

Secured onto OBD port
Strong carbon fiber reinforced plastic feels hard and stiff, the cover snaps into the base securely and the screws tighten tightly. There was some wiggle when first installed, I folded a paper towel cut to size about four to six folds and reinstalled to eliminate any wiggling, it doesn't move at all now. Just bolted on tight on the connector and cannot pull or yank it off, I tried but felt like I'll rip the wire harness out the dash if I tried harder. If it were produced with a thick padding inside it would be good, but my paper towel mod works fine. Also the tool handle was loose on the driver bit so I glued them together solid, to get more torque while tightening. If that came already bonded together that would be cool. This should deter thieves or give me some more reaction time to incapacitate them.

My car got stolen with this on
Thieves used signal booster to highjack my key and drive away. Once in a safe place, easy to pry/break off is my guess.Seemed 3D printed. Did not work as a preventative for me. My car was still easy to steal. Brittle. Doesn’t take much to break. I broke lock piece on accident very easily.Bought two and customer service good. They refunded 1st broken unit. So installed the new one and that one was on the car that was stolen. This was my experience.

Simply genius theft protection!
An inexpensive and simple over the OBD port device which will discourage thieves from stealing your car by wiring into the OBD port and starting the engine. No rewiring, special codes or reprogramming. Simply place it over the port and lock it in with 2 screws. I Installed it in my Corvette C7 Stingray, and I have piece of mind whenever I need to leave it on the street or parking lot. Hide the security key in a secret compartment, and it can be undone in 5 minutes if your car needs to be serviced away from home.

Nice product! Does the job intended
Locks up tight, no way to remove it without destroying the wiring. Feels pretty well made.

Fits perfect with paper spacers, 2015 Accord and 2023 Kia Niro.
Good carbon fiber - reinforced injection molded parts. Brass inserts for the screw threads, very secure. Stainless steel security machine screws, countersunk into the plastic lock body. Can't remove the screws by force. I had to add 2 light cardboard 'shims' at the end of the lock where the lock body touches the OBD socket, so it doesn't rattle when secured. Other than that minor addition, the lock is very secure, and a thief would have to destroy the OBD socket to get the lock off.

Excellent OBD II lock option!
This is an excellent OBD II port lock. It is well made and offered at a great price. The product was easy to install and adds a level of deterrence to auto theft using the OBD port. Two other benefits this product has over other OBD lock options (other than quality and price): 1. It has a low profile and does not protrude below the dash; therefore, it is not likely be impacted by legs or knees. 2. It puts me in control so I know when a mechanic accesses the OBD port and keeps someone from flashing my ECU without my knowledge.

Decent lock - Not carbon fiber.
Installation was pretty easy. Took me 5 minutes with the included instructions. It comes with a security key and a 3D printed holder. It would be nice if these two components came glued, maybe with a keyhole to avoid losing it. I ended up drilling a hole and using weatherstrip adhesive to make it into a proper “key”.I’m not sure what durability is like. This is made of 3D printed plastic, not carbon fiber as mentioned in the ad. It was a disappointment. There isn’t even carbon fiber texture or patterns.I’m not sure how easy it is to pull or tear off from the OBD II Port. I’ll probably test it on a junk car. There is a bit of movement when I pull it lightly.
