I really researched which one to buy, to be honest this is really good at the price, I have only used in the cored gasless mig mode and to be honest its really good for DIY and I have been impressed with the weld quality I can achieve.Had an issue where the wire came out thru the liner, that was just due to miss feed and easily resolved - keep the wire and umbilical straight when feeding the wire into it at welder end.Instructions a bit lacking, when you adjust the power it makes a auto adjust to the feed rate slightly, best bet is to have a go and with time you kind of understand how the parameters are changing.Good for hobby and home use with clean steel, was able to spot weld old mower deck very well.

Handy little thing to have around, works as good as any

What a brilliant bit of kit!!!!! after using a Clarke 130 this hitbox welder kit knocks the socks off it ,great welder very easy to use, amazingly powerful for it's size , easy to adjust

The good point are small light easy to get into awkward.Have now used it on 2 jobs.One weld up a trailer up and a Repair a For lift roll cage The only downside is I found Awkward loading new Spool of wire Because it is So smal

Great wee welder. have used it for welding on the subframe and new sils. does the job perfectly. the only thing that stopped this being 5 stars was that the mig torch is a little prone to jamming up.

The plastic shroud around the electrical components and connector block of the MIG gun is poorly constructed and just fell open, exposing live wiring behind it. The twist off end cap which is poorly secured and takes about 1/8th of a turn to remove. Which as I found can be done by just the torch cable movement over the end cap because it’s so loose. Below it are live cables. This poses an electrical hazard. These cables are joined using US style twist caps which, although not illegal in the UK, are far from best practice and designed for in wall use and on 110V circuits used in the US with lower electrocution risk. See images.The included manual for this is useless. I asked support for a better manual and they sent one. This was also useless so I asked for a better manual. They sent a near identical one. The manuals were poorly translated but make reference to switches and functions that have no corresponding diagram. So there’s no way of following what the manual is saying or making the adjustments it references. Support is lacking.The marketing says “【The Coolest Colourful Large LED Display】- The unique colour LED screen design to provide you with accurate data display“. Yes, if you are in a dark room. But in a well lit area the screen is quite dull. See image - you can see the amps/volts but not the colourful welding format selector.In the specifications it says “Applicable wire: 0.6/0.8/1.0.“ It’s not supplied with a 0.6mm roller. Note too in case you miss it – the TIG torch is not included.The machine worked for both MIG and TIG but due to the issues noted -particularly electrical safety - I returned it.

Feeder wire gets stuck and I consider to cheap and will upgrade if I need to do another welding project
