These are very nice nail files. Haven't had a chance to use the buffer yet, but I'm excited to try it out. As for the other files, they are very well made and file my nails with no snags or rough edges left behind other files.

I’m learning how to do my nails and hated filing them Because of the grit no matter what number I used. I got a glass file with a drill I purchased and loved it. I read about how the glass cuticle cleaner works then purchased it. And I love it too. Especially to clean up when I make a mistake with the polish. It cleans it right up so now I don’t worry if I mess up or not. In fact I’m placing an order for 2 more sets: 1) for my neighbour and the other to keep at work and travel.

I like to use those buffer blocks but they are so expensive now and you basically get only a few uses out of them... which is a huge waste of money. So I wondered if something like this existed and it does! So I tested it out and they work just fine. I really wanted it for this shining ones. It definitely buffs and shines simultaneously! I will say this, if you want to use it on the tips of your fingernails to kind of add that extra bit of smoothness I say go for it! But here's my recommendation! If you cut or file your nails before doing this bit, cut or file them a little longer than where you actually want them to be, the shining buffer WILL shorten them a fairly good amount before it shines them. You also kind of have to be pretty rough with the file on the nail bed because it does take a little more grit and effort to get that nail polish-type healthy-looking shine. Unlike one of those store-bought blocks it is made of glass, so I assumed it would be even easier, but that is not the case. And this is not because of manufacturing or the company or how it was made. It's because it is not the same fabric-type material as those block ones.If these ones get bad I will surely buy them again! I like them, switching over to glass files is a HUGE upgrade and they just treat your nails so much better than regular files.

These files work terrific, just buy them.

I have ordered several brands of the glass/ Crystal nail files offered on Amazon. Some are pretty colors, have cute cases (that are ok).. but THIS is the BEST one I have ever used- and the best price for ALL you receive in the kit. Each item is made of thick sturdy glass with very sharp filing surfaces and each has a nice sturdy plastic case to protect it. The files makes doing nail work quick and easy/ very little pressure required to file a nail or buff for a shine. . Nice variety of 2 sizes- one for home & one to travel with if desired. The “cuticle pusher” is something not offered by other’s sellers- and is Wonderful to use while cleaning the nail AND doing some “mini filing” around the nail edges. Great for yourself- makes a terrific gift for someone else. GREAT price also!!
