I give this book to all my clients. Must read for anyone in sales.
Anyone in sales and marketing knows the mantra “The Fortune is in the follow up”. Joe’s book is the ultimate guide to follow up and referral marketing. The book was written well before email/internet marketing was a thing, so don’t expect anything on that side. It doesn’t matter because what you NEED is the principle of how to follow up when to follow up etc. that is all covered in the book and you can then implement using whatever tech you want.He holds the Guinness world record for sales. So if you are in sales and you don’t have this book, well, I don’t know what to tell you.

Some good advice.
Got some good advice from it about understanding the customer and how to treat them. Only 4 stars because it's a little bit dated, pre internet.

Learn From The Master
Another great book by the master. here Joe Girard tells his story of how he got into sales and how he developed his winning system. He then shares his secret sauce. The book is a bit outdated because it Joe's career took place before the age of cell phones and social media, howvere the principles work today too.

Easy Read
Some concepts were dated in relation to today’s environment but much of his ideas and strategies are still very relevant today. I’m no sales person but I realise everyday that being with my clients, I’m selling in some way. First sales book I’ve read and it was definitely informative coupled with easy reading. Much of it was on retail selling of vehicles but the concepts could be easily applied in other business sectors

Good guide
Most practical procedures in this books are outdated but the cores always the same, it can be reused with today's techs and means of reaching your customers. The author sold only cars but still very insightful. Most of today's interactions are online, but this book teaches you face to face interaction with your prospect clients.

Not my cup of tea
A bit disappointed in this book. Too many pages for things that can be said in an article : he refers to the automobile market and never gives advice about sales in general. Plus, never says how we can capture the buyers' attention via phone, email, what phrases can one use, what psychology/mindset one must adopt to increase sales etc.,
